“Watch City Pharmacy offers quite literally a night and day improvement over the chains and even other independents. They are always on time with refills (I recently called one in and… it was already being filled!), they have successfully lined up all my refills for a once monthly drop (one visit vs 5-10 at other pharmacies), and the customer service is superb. I’ve never received a “your refill is ready” only to find it is not (I’m looking at you CVS). Fast, friendly, on time. There’s no comparison to the other providers. Keep up the great work!”

“They have carried out a nice renovation since I was there last. I had defected to using Market Basket which is closer to my house. I was not expecting to go to Hannaford's today but was with a friend so we stopped there. The problem: since I wasn't in my own car, I had no supermarket shopping bags with me. It is bad enough that you have to pay 10 cents a bag to carry out your food. Guaranteed the bags do not cost them 10 cents apiece. WORSE: the paper bags were garbage. They tore almost immediately when I tried to pick them up. They weren't that heavily loaded but all three tore. If they are going to make you pay for paper bags, the least they can do is give you a functional bag.”

“Great store! Excellent customer service from manager Dennis who is always helpful and goes above and beyond for customers. Derrick and Omega are great with excellent people skills but DEFINITELY a different experience at night with a grumpy shift leader named Mikael. Not only is he not helpful but his attitude almost spoils it for the whole store. Other than one bad apple that works at night named Mikael this store really cares about customer service. 5 stars from me but I won't go in at night anymore unfortunately:(:(:(”

“Hannaford Pharmacy is the best I've found in the area around Lexington and Waltham. Staff are always professional, always helpful. They answer the phone right away. They always check to find the better price between my Medicare copay vs. GoodRx and if they have not done this in advance they willingly check for and give me the better price at pick- up. When I use GoodRx, Hannaford is almost always the lowest price when compared to ten or so other area pharmacys, almost always lower than CVS or Walgreens.”

“Pandemic Senior store: this has long been my neighborhood grocery. During the Pandemic I've been going at "Senior Hours" at 6am on Thursday's. I'm impressed. There is a well masked crew of staff restocking and one of two other parties of customers. There is always a checkout open despite the lack of early customers. Sometimes they lack stock, but I gather that is true of all it's competitors. It is well marked and friendly; that's what I need.”
“The pharmacists here are nice, kind and competent. The techs may need some help from the pharmacist sometimes but they are super polite and very patient. Super easy to book vaccines too.”

“had a great experience with the pharmacy here. i needed a medication transferred and the pharmacists were very kind and had it ready within the day! when i went to pick it up, they were very professional and even helped me find a lower cost prescription, as my insurance did not cover it. very pleased and will return.the hold times are relatively long, unless you call early in the morning. i took a star off because the store itself was very disorganized, and the sections were incorrectly labeled. but 5/5 for the pharmacy”

“I honestly don't know why this pharmacy has such bad reviews. I've lived in watertown for over a year and I absolutely love this pharmacy. Dealing with any pharmacy in Newton is an absolute nightmare, I absolutely hate having to call them for my prescription. I just wish this pharmacy had a better system for medication ordering and stocking.”

“I'm writing specifically about the pharmacy at this Walgreens. Last week I filled a prescription for an antibiotic there. When I took the first one, it was so unbearably bitter that I called my doctor to see if it came in a capsule instead of a pill. They didn't know and told me to call the pharmacy, so I did. The pharmacist answered the phone after a very short hold, looked up the medication, and told me that it came in capsules in a different dosage that I could still take so that the daily mg intake would be the same. My doctor prescribed it for me there, and when the pharmacist told me they didn't have it in stock but another nearby Walgreens did, the Weston St. store arranged for me to get it at the other store AND to apply coupons to the new prescription that I qualified for, which made it much more affordable.I'm so grateful. I don't remember the name of the pharmacist, but I think her name began with a C. She was great.”

So kudos to Huang, and Carrie, get some customer service training.”
