“I bought a 1953 Royal QDL typewriter online. It arrived with a bent frame, a broken escapement, and other things that needed fixing (it had been dropped in shipping). I brought it to Collins Office Systems. He had it ready in 3 days! It came out beautifully. When I called Vince he asked the model number and when I rattled off the series of letters and numbers he knew exactly what model it was. We talked on the phone and he told me to bring it in and he would look at it.
