“Nice little shop/gallery in the same location as what was many years ago the Salt Marsh Pottery.I read a couple of reviews complaining about the owner's attitude when they wanted to return a purchase (they seem to have been removed, which is appropriate, as I'll explain). I wasn't present to observe these interactions, but the postings saying "no returns due to Covid-19" were everywhere... you'd have to willfully try not to see them and, even then, I'd don't know how you could manage not to. So I think those complaints were quite unfair.”

“Periwinkle is an impeccably curated boutique, well on its way to becoming a Cape Cod destination. It's a place where you can browse at your own pace without the staff encroaching, which is nice, there's a lot to see. They also recently got a must see baby section that is adorable. Otherwise - two floors, great selection from small gifts, to jewelry, to home decor. Some deals in the on-sale section... A must stop during our stay in Wellfleet, always.”

“This is a new favorite shop in the seaside community of Wellfleet, MA. I purchased a driftwood Christmas Tree, and when I explained that it was going to be for my daughter’s Bridal Shower she generously went into the back room and gifted me a “Mr & Mrs” ornament! If you love supporting local small businesses like I do, this one is top notch!”

“Very nice proprietor; he was very friendly and knowledgeable and even suggested that I bring my dogs inside, as they were waiting for me in the car. He gave them treats and had also offered to mind my fiesty one while I shopped!Offered within, is a nice selection of Made in America ceramics, posters, linens, jewelry and some food items. It was my first time within the shop after regularly vacationing on the Cape for many many years, and I was delighted to discover what will be a new "annual stop" in the future.Side note: The petty, negative comments a few have posted, were due to a controversial garment one shopper had chosen to wear into the shop, which could have been interpreted as offensive and polarizing to other customers. The proprietor had every right to insure that all of his customers have a pleasant shopping experience. Moral of the story? Don't be a "Karen".”
