“Recently had my BMW X3 serviced, and I must say, the experience was quite positive. My vehicle had been experiencing some issues with the seat belt sensor electronics . I’ve had BMW’s all my life and have taken it from the dealership to local shops with the prices being higher and lower but the experience has always been mid. Here’s how it went:
Service Quality: The technicians were highly knowledgeable and professional. They quickly diagnosed the electronic issue . They also did not try to do any add on service like all the other shops and specially the stealership has done !
Repair Process: The repair process was smooth and efficient. The service center kept me informed throughout, explaining the issues in detail and providing a clear estimate of the costs involved.
Cost: While BMW repairs can be on the pricier side, I found the costs to be affordable and reasonable given the quality of service and the parts used. The total cost for the repairs was within the estimated range provided initially, with no unexpected charges.
Performance Post-Repair: The car feels as good as new (as a used car can be ?) and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.
Overall Experience: I am very pleased with the repair service for my X3. The professionalism, transparency, and quality of work were top-notch. I would highly recommend North Shore to any BMW owner in need of repairs.

PS: At the same time there was an issue with my hood latch that kept stuck thus the hood latch sensor would go on. They cleaned it up and got it back to normal and did even charge ! The thing is I didn’t even tell them about the issue which means they really do inspect the car !”

“Took my Corvette to Herb Chambers 3 times for the engine misfiring..After the 3rd visit they told me it was the transmission and to take it to a transmission mechanic in Wakefield. Within 1 hr the transmission place told me it was fine. Took it to essex County auto repair. They did a tune up in one day. Car runs like new and they did it at a excellent price. The dealership should be embarrassed,they couldn't fix the car. They had it for 3 weeks.. can't say enough about essex, thank u for fixing my car.”
