“We have been to their butcher shop multiple times in the last few months and all of our experiences have been top notch. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about everything they sell. I asked for help in cooking a prime rib for my family and it was perfect!! I have asked for suggestions on other poultry and pork alike and have not been disappointed. It feels comfortable when you walk in by how u are greeted by staff. They are attentive to their customers by being engaging in conversation about what they are looking for today and how can they help you. We also go to their Deli that serves Boars Head products! They are also very friendly and eager to help you with anything you want. We order ahead as we travel from Hudson to W Boylston to go to S&S ! It's so yummy and my family will continue to shop here. The stores are both bright and clean! I'm impressed! Want to come to the Hudson/Berlin area!! Thank you for such great service and food!!”
“Al Basrah Halal Market is one of those small, cozy shops that quietly becomes part of your routine before you even realize it.
It's not huge, and the selection isn't endless—but everything it does have is thoughtful. I would stop in every few days for little things: drinks, sweets, chocolates, sometimes fruit, sometimes something new I hadn't seen before. They carry a mix of halal and imported goods—baklava, candies, dried and canned items, teas, and a fridge/freezer section with drinks and frozen foods. Everything feels clean, organized, and well cared for, and the prices are genuinely excellent—much better than what you find in typical supermarkets.
What really kept me coming back, though, wasn't just the products—it was the feeling of the place. The store is calm and welcoming, never crowded, with a quiet energy that makes it easy to browse and take your time. And the staff are genuinely kind—warm, friendly, and attentive without ever being intrusive. There's a natural hospitality here that makes you feel comfortable and seen, and it left me curious about their stories and the culture they bring to this little corner of Worcester.
This store feels like a small cultural anchor in the neighborhood. It's steady, sweet, and meaningful in a way that's easy to overlook. During my time in Worcester, it became more than a convenience stop—it became part of my rhythm, a little place of comfort I looked forward to visiting.
I'm truly grateful this place exists. I'd recommend stopping in—not just for the drinks and sweets, but to experience a small, human corner of Worcester that brings warmth, care, and a sense of community.”

“Harvest Moon Fruit Baskets/Commercial Fruit is absolutely wonderful! We needed to get a fruit basket and a basket of candy and snacks to a Worcester Hospital and Phil was great at making it happen! He took my call first thing in the morning and had both baskets at the hospital within hours on the same day! The nurses and staff were so appreciative and said that the baskets were wonderful. Thank you for the excellent service and providing such nice baskets at a very reasonable price.”
“It's fun to go to Aldi. The prices are better than other stores, although the selection is a little less than the huge grocery stores. I like the pizzas, cereals, coffee, and especially the seedtastic thin sliced bread!!”
“The perfect place to get those ingredients only found at your country for that home dish you want to taste once more away from home.Staff is very friendly and helpful. They always help you in every possible way. Recommended.”
“Since they have gone to bagging the veggies (3 peppers per bag), etc, I'm not as happy. Veggies/ fruits don't seem as fresh as before and it is so much nicer to pick the veggie/fruit you want. What about all the extra plastic that is producing and wasting on the environment??”
“We were pleasantly surprised at the selection of fresh vegetables and fruits over here. Prices very reasonable like blackberries too clam shells for three dollars. Additionally, they have a deli where you can get fresh cooked foods. They also make their own bread at reasonable prices. We got a dessert drink as well as a green coconut with the Gentleman slice for us to drink out from. One of the owners or managers was named Sajan. He was quite helpful in selecting the spices as well as getting the 3 pounds of cashew nuts. We filled up our card for almost $200. The highlight of the evening for me was the moringa seeds that I had been searching everywhere for. Additionally, we stocked up on airplane, food, sweets, crispy stuff, and things for my granddaughter. Their spices are really amazing and have a great selection.”
“I just bought an absolutely perfect loaf of artisan sourdough today and i have to rave about it. (Also shout out to the staff, they rock here and their service is always friendly, speedy, and efficient)
BUT BACK TO THE SOURDOUGH
Incredible. Truly, blown away by how delicious it was, the baker of this did an exceptional job and this is now my sourdough spot so please keep this in stock forever.”
