“The Dead Zone is an iconic & historic piece of the cape cod experience. I used to flood the shop when Patty was in Chatham off main st with my buddies as a snot nose in the 90’s to peruse Dead Tapes! We probably drove her nuts. Still stop by once a year to check it out (live in NY now). A brick & mortar ‘Mom’ shop that honors the Dead is few & far between. Any head should make it a point to stop by & pay their respects. “This place is such a gem. Think Rose Apothecary but owned by a cool LA couple. Such a fun, unique selection of vintagey Cape hoodies and tees, funky little collectibles, and home decor.I went in for a gift and left with that checked off, a few vinyl records and beautifully framed wall art that would've been 2-3x the price in local galleries. Definitely worth a stop in.”

“We found a beautiful “Whales Tail” necklace for my wife and she chose the 18” chain. Unfortunately it was lost shortly after we returned home to NJ. I called and spoke to Sophia who immediately sent out another one. That one didn’t arrive because the U.S.P.S. sent it to Tucson,AZ. After my call Sophia sent a second one on that same day that arrived two days later on Wednesday. On Friday the first necklace arrived ? We immediately called and told them that we would like to keep this one too. This is a great small shop with lots of beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices. We highly recommend that you visit The Silver Seahorse. What a wonderful experience with honest and fair owners. ? Customer Service was fantastic!”

“We stopped into Lexaco during a little shopping stroll in Harwich. The selection is wonderful, and my friend got a much-needed polish for a bracelet she was wearing. What really made our experience though, was talking with the owner Lisa, who is an incredibly talented artist and jeweler herself. She gave us the background on her “seeds and sea stories” collection of necklaces, which are cast from little seeds and shells she’s found outside. The entire shelf was her work, and we loved hearing about her creative process and clear appreciation for natural beauty. We can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in town.”

“My family has been visiting Harwich Port and shopping at Port-O-Call since my mother was a child decades ago. Today my daughters went with their father to buy souvenirs. My daughters selected a necklace each for themselves, but just after leaving the store my eldest daughter's necklace broke. She was very upset and crying on the front step! The owner came out to see what was the matter, and did everything in her power to make it right - truly going ABOVE AND BEYOND. We have been loyal patrons of Port-O-Call for decades (and three generations), and will be loyal patrons for decades more. The love and kindness that this shop has shown my family helping to select souvenirs, and count out money, and providing perfect unique objects to allow us to cherish the memory of the Cape for years. “We worked with Ross to create a custom men's wedding band for my fiancé. Ross was more than willing to help us create something unique with elements and inspiration from my fiancé's father's wedding band, that looked like it was pulled from a shipwreck at the bottom of the ocean. While we were talking, Ross would pop into his workshop in back of the display room, and try different techniques to help us find what we were looking for. He has a beautiful shop with so many unique pieces. He is a master at his art, and we loved working with him.”

“This women's clothing boutique, is located in the heart of Harwich Center, across from The Seal Pub. My wife loves the clothing variety and gift items, such as soaps, jewelry, hats, and hand bags, and accessories. The clothing items to me, appear fashionable, and cross all the demographic lines, meaning, something for everyone. I can see fashionable items for young girls, young women, moms, older ladies, and when some cougars! There's ample parking in the rear of the building, and it's located really close to the cape bike trail, which is really convenient. The inventory moves quickly with a variety of sale items, on-line promotions, get together events like wine tastings, and after hour VIP member get together events, which keep things fresh for all the seasons. The owner is wonderful to talk to, and gives off great vibes, which had led to a solid following of repeat customers who come in. My wife likes it so much, she asked for a part time job! Lol ???? ????”

“I took my 40+ year old engagement ring in to LAM Jewelry after hearing the highest possible recommendations in Dennis and surrounding towns. It was worn on the gold band to a thin shred.Len also advised replacing the prongs on the diamond.The band needed to be totally replace, could not be repaired with its thinness.All told the 18K gold band and new prongs were a bit expensive, but reasonable given cost of gold. The ring looked brand new when I got it back.I would absolutely trust LAM Jewelers with my other precious jewelry in the future! So great to have this LOCAL expertise!”
