“"Dial M For Murder": The acting, adaptation, sound, lighting, and set design were all fantastic! Check out their ticket discounts for future shows including stand-by, first performances on Fridays, and Super Saturday's, as well as, the standard senior and student discounts. You won't be disappointed. The only suggestion I would make is to cut the salt down by at least half or more in the popcorn. There is also alcohol served at the concession bar and another area for sweets and non- alcohol beverages. Thanks to all who helped put on the production with a special shout out to the volunteers who gladly helped me to my seat.”
“A great community center! From the festivals they run (Wake Up the Earth, Lantern Parade and many more) to the community activities held every monthy like Pot Lucks and daily programs they have much to offer! The staff works hard to create a diverse, accepting community that fights against cultural erasure and for equality, equity and our climate crisis!”
“What a special place this is! I did not realize that this group had been in operation for 100 years until I attended the performance yesterday. The building is a beautiful historic building. It is also wheelchair accessible. The performance of Miss Holmes was really good. Good acting, and the set was really clever and creative. They also had snacks during intermission. Only a dollar for a bag of chips or a soda! The ticket price was also very reasonable. I can't wait to see their next play!”
“Had a great time volunteering with my co-workers and the many others that were there. My group worked on sizing. Sorting kids clothes by size, type, and filtering out those that were damaged, too large, not sensitive to children's particular home situations, etc. Kevin was our host. He was fun, energetic, helpful, positive, and inspiring. It does get hot in there, so bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Signed up with my family for another volunteer opportunity. Looking forward to it! Hopefully I will have the opportunity to try another station but wouldn't be bummed if we get sizing again. Parking in front of building, street side, and other lots in the area. Do not park in the lot next door. They will ask you to move your vehicle. Thanks Cradles to Crayons for the opportunity to give just two hours of our time to your important mission. Also, we were informed that they are in need of boys and gender neutral clothing. Size newborn to 18/20. Board books too. I will bring more bags to donate with us next time we are in the area.”

“I would like to give 5 stars to Jordan Shea the membership director for being a very friendly, helpful, professional and kind staff for assisting me all the way through how to get a membership and even offering a financial aid for people who has financial difficulties such as myself. Other Staff were very kind and helpful towards everyone. This place is worth visiting even for few minutes. Cheers!”
“Straight teaching from the bible place of worship. Non denominational, supportive and caring body. Brother Craigwell (minister and elder is one of the many excellent learders, always available to help, support and educate anyone in need, this quality is echoed throughout the body. They dont judge they teach the word of Gods word."Many years ago the Father of heaven touched my wife, she started her journey to find a God fearing "church" MANY churchs didnt fit the bill, personally I rejected all of them but allowed my wife to walk her walk. every church she went to she soon learned they were a house of viper's (which i knew in 1 visit), my wife became run down and weary, losing hope then God lead her directly to 81 Walnut Ave where she found peace, comfort and the true word of God. My first visit I knew this was the home for her.I thank God, the elders and the body for such an amazing and welcoming place to worship God Almighty.”
“The ABGC is a safe, fun, great place for kids to grow up alongside wonderful role models , wonderful staff, and so many of whom have been involved for many years. I have seen a major improvement in my kids social and emotional health from their experiences and relationships, and relationship building skills being discovered and built at the boys n girls club. They also are healthier from the regular swimming, exercising, and excitement of being with friends after school. They learn to cook, and learn all types of different things there. Anytime I walked around inside it was very clean considering all the traffic, they definitely have professionals deep cleaning regularly. I wish I had a place like ABGC in my town growing up. It's a gift to our community.”
“Truly a safe haven for ALL woman (including trans) a beautiful house to come amd relax on the couches or get work done with advocates. Breakfast and lunch is always provided. You can do laundry once a week for FREE! Take a clean hot shower and get the neccessities for your hygiene. I've grown so much as a person since I started going.”
“A VFW post that exceeds all expectations of what a post should be and represent. Great staff and members. I highly recommend stopping there if you're ever in the Boston area.”
“CIMC is a serene building which holds many talks, meditation sessions and classes. Narayan is my absolute favorite teacher but all of the teachers are skilled. Larry Rosenberg was involved for many years as the head teacher but I don’t think he is anymore. Go check this place out. It will help you. Also they have a 15 minute Daily Dharma zoom every weekday from 8:45 till 9:00. There are hundreds of people who join from all over the world. It’s a really fantastic way to start your day.”
“You can rent kayaks, rowboats and paddle boards to enjoy going on the water on Jamaica Pond (no swimming allowed). They have discounts for Boston residents and season passes. Always friendly and helpful service too. They also seem to offer a nice summer program for kids. A perfect community partner all around.”
“Excellent. They have never told me not to provide me with the help I need in the midst of needing food for my kittens. They are very friendly and I am very happy that they will now have new facilities. Good for them!! They deserve it!! They are NOT like ARL BOSTON who are racist.”

“The teachers are fabulous. Prior to joining the Y I went to a boutique gym that was three times more expensive than the Y and yet the teachers did not match the teachers at the Y. One example, at that gym all teachers were screaming all class long to cover the very high volume of the music. It was an unbearable cacophony that left me mentally exhausted. It was far from rewarding. When I tried to ask them to speak less over the music (since we were imitating their body movements anyway) they seemed very offended. I noticed that at the Y none of the teachers are in the bad habit of screaming during class, they respect the music, and let their bodies teach us the Zumba steps. I am highly recommending the Y. My only regret is that I did not join sooner!”

“For over 6 years now, Commonwealth Learning Center has consistently provided excellent individualized tutoring and academic support that has helped our child have proficiency and confidence in school. We appreciate how the tutors over the years got to know our child's specific needs and how they followed a plan of development but remained flexible enough to apply their development plan to real life school assignments. The CLC culture, while focused and skilled, enabled the tutors to work with our child's needs and communicate regularly with us as parents. We are grateful for the lasting impact and shudder to think of where our now high schooler would be without the investment of teachers and tutors and Commonwealth Learning Center. Thank you CLC!”

“I adopted my son through this team almost a year ago. As a single woman I can’t speak more highly of my experience working and feeling encouraged and supported by this team.”
“Cute bookstore. Stopped in while on a work trip to the area. The book store itself is rather small but they have hundreds of books cataloged in the back so all you have to do is have them look it up for you. They also have local seasoning, crafts, and more displayed around the shop for purchase. I was able to get the book I was looking for along with some Zatar seasoning. It was a win win for me. Would definitely come back to find a new book or just to see what they have that's new. Part of the proceeds also go to a worthy cause of youth education and literacy so that makes it even better. Will definitely return!”
“I can’t recommend BILT enough to families in need of services. Christina and her staff show so much compassion towards the individuals and take the time to come up with a plan specifically geared towards the family and individual’s needs. I’ve been to many fundraising events and the energy, passion, and care they put into everything they do is very inspiring!”

“This is a brilliant much needed social work slash reentry reintegration and rehabilitation program that is an oasis in a dried sea turned desert wastelandWhile true social reforms in this historically Confusing land of far liberal philanthropists and advocates , the multiverse of American academia is firmly seated here with a related sub niche of medical research firms and they're constituents with they're specific set of political agenda goals aspirations and beliefs , lower middle class democratic working but yet morally conservative Irish , Conservative Italian Americans and they're stronghold and bastion of old world charm New England beauty and a very very strong European influence in the north end, outreach , harm.reduction modules and a variety of other programs intranets and infrastructure (s) are slowly but surely blossoming like black tipped red roses cracking concrete and growing up thru it???And this is one of the old guard as it were in an area of unsurpassed growth and finally responsible transparent and therefore accountable $pendingSo yeah I cant say enough about what these people are doingMost people don't realize how real the class division is in the United StatesOnes mans dream.........is another man's night terrorSo yeah I know I ranted unintelligibly for most of this partial review partial social statementBut I salute and commend this organization and not just what they do and aim to doBut also for the life changing potential that it could have , you never know but a lack of a proper set of dress clothing can limit your options in many different parts of life ( when you need but don't have , and especially when the suit is the last piece to your re integration re entry sobriety etc al journeyI'm of the school of thought that ( this is from the Talmud )To save a single human soul is as if you saved every soul in the world”
“I lodged in this amazing historic place last month. I love everything antique and vintage and visiting Boston for the first time was for me a dream come through. My parents visited and lodged here for more than thirty years as they went for their class association. I will gladly pay to stay here anytime I visit Boston because it is very peaceful.”
“I've gotten the CSA this year and last, and I love it. Employees are very friendly, produce is fresh and delicious, and farm store offerings are local but a bit pricey. They carry Iggy's bread which is awesome”

“Just got home from the 100th Anniversary Gala at the Dedham Community House and walking through the front door after not having been there for over 3 DECADES, I was rocketed back to the days of my youth when I spent a great deal of time at D.C.H. The fellowship of the event was palpable and the pride in the principles that D.C.H. encompasses is inspiring. The outgoing director of 15 years, Michelle, introduced the new incoming director, who has decades of experience in non profit programs and knows and understands the missions and goals of Dedham Community House).I went to preschool here and I was both nurtured and gently disciplined so that I could LEARN and the wonderful teachers helped form me into the human being that I am today. I went to Dedham Community House summer camp from age 6 to age 12. I made some of my closest friends during those summers days at camp. I learned teamwork, scheduling and routine, listening to directions, sports, crafts, and empathy and compassion for others. I wouldn't trade those days for anything. It's so wonderful to know that D.C.H. is still a place for children to go to be safe and guided. D.C.H. is an important part of our community and I am sure it will be here and thriving 100 years from now. ???”
