“This is a wonderful jewelry shop. The owners are lovely and helpful, and they do most work onsite, so it can be done far more quickly than at stores that send things out. I had several pieces of jewelry that needed work this holiday season: 2 vintage bracelets that needed new clasps, a vintage ring that needed to be sized, and my mom's vintage diamond ring that needed a new head because the prongs had broken and the stone had fallen out. TC Jewelers got all the work done in less than 2 days--some was done while I waited. And the pricing was extremely reasonable. “Well, you can count on Lesley to steer your gift shopping. Being male and having to buy gifts for a large number of female relatives is not easy. I trust Saks, EB Horn and George's. Their shoppers and selections always save me before birthdays then holidays. Lesley will put together a bag and scarf combo that's perfect. Or summer sandals that say party on the beach. She and her family buy out leftovers from some great stores and if you pay over $100 for any one of their designer finds I'd be shocked. I just bought three winter coats for nieces and two from some hi end German designer I never would've heard of. Or afforded. Going back to ship her night hours for something nice for daughter and mom. Sometimes I just give her dollar amount, number of gals and sizes and voila, shopping done. “Wow, these folks take good care of their elderly customers! I arrived early for my appointment, and they completed the appraisal of my items in much less time than expected. As a result, I was done almost an hour before my taxi would arrive. The staff asked me whether I had a ride. When I told them about my taxi's expected arrival, they invited me to sit in their lounge till then. Then, shortly before the expected arrival, I went to the front entrance to watch out the window. And the staff brought a chair for me to sit in while waiting! Excellent service! Incidentally, the appraisal consisted of a streak test and a chemical test, which showed that my items had very little value. Because of this, the staff did not even charge me anything for the appraisal!”
