“I started taking my dog here after a bad experience at another groomer. Stasia took good care of us. She is extremely talented, patient and compassionate with the dogs. I only wish we found her sooner. Definitely would recommend.”

“We went to Faxon to see if we would adopt a cat when we came there immediately we were greeted with such friendliness and kindness. The environment itself was such an amazing experience. We got super lucky and we were able to meet our furever friend immediately ? we picked her up today and we couldn’t be more happier. Thank you so much for giving us a new addition to our family?”

“I love this place! I truly have not come across a pet store with such an impressive variety of fish, many of which I have not seen stocked at any other stores. The variety of products for basically any pet you can possibly imagine makes this a one stop shop for all of your pet needs. I have to shout out Shawna as well, since she always goes out of her way to provide spot-on information and advice on fishkeeping. I eagerly drive down from Boston just to check out what they have in stock--it's well worth it!”

“Such a friendly and helpful group. I'm visiting my daughter, up from Houston, and I left her gate open allowing her chickens to escape. They recommended some type of casings and I was able to corral them all in a matter of minutes.”

“Very friendly, good prices I went looking for tropical fish and tropical fish supplies found everything I was looking for except for one particular item. I also purchased two different breeds of tropical fish. They seem to be very healthy and now are in my tank with lots of energy, they are also eating and I don’t think I’m going to have any problem with them. I would recommend, Melissa’s to anyone”

“So sorry to inform you that our special dog has passed away . The last week in May 2025. Our grooming dates with Jennifer were wonderful. She was so learned about grooming poodles and Cupcake loved going . Thanks to all of your staff for a fantastic memory. Check out Cupcake with our daughter, who bought her in Florida. Isn’t that a smile on her face!”

“Birds are so misunderstood, but in this store it is all about what is best for our feathered friends, which is amazing and rare to find. They educate you and really make sure you understand what you getting into. It is a beautiful thing when owners of a store selling living beings care more about the health of their animals and their future rather than just trying to make a profit. The people at this store are your friends for life; they will always ask you about how your pet is doing and use the pet's name. If you are ever considering an avian pet, make sure you do your homework and spend time at JJ Birds to learn which personality of bird will be best for you and fit into your lifestyle. The quality of their merchandise and food is also unsurpassed and much healthier than you will find in any big box store.”

“The employees are all great but the wait time is a bit much for a scheduled appointment. Also noticed they like to push prescriptions even when you said you aren't interested.”

“I am writing to share my appreciation for the work you do. Having adopted a couple of pets from Forever Paws over the last few years, I can personally attest that the welfare of the animals is always their main priority. I felt it was a thorough process to ensure a compatible fit between the pet and myself. Additionally, my daughter has had the pleasure of both working and volunteering at the shelter. She truly loved her time there and frequently witnessed the deep care and compassion the staff provided to every animal in their care. I just wanted to thank you all for your dedication to the animals in our community and for making each of my adoption experiences so positive.”

“Amazing facility, I brought my cat Starr here a long time ago, she was old, fading, she had kidney failure, going senile, and she had dementia and didn't know who I was but could remember my voice. They treated her with such kindness and tenderness, it was hard for me to part with my girl after having her for over a decade. They assured me she was in very good hands, this was in 2009 around February. I have a girl in my life her name is Belle Starr. I highly recommend this facility they will show your pets the upmost respect and tenderness.”

“My son was interested in getting a bearded dragon and getting information about it because he was also interested in a chameleon. A sales associate named Aria was incredibly helpful to my son. She's very knowledgeable about bearded dragons and provided excellent customer service.”
