“My wife loves to loudly yell over my shoulder “do NOT throw that out! I’ll sell it. Someone could use that, it’s in great condition…practically brand new!” Which of course leads me to (almost) ask why she bought the item in the first place if we never ended up using it and now I’m here unearthing it in the attic like fossil in western Utah. THAT being left unsaid of course she sells probably 1.3 things she claims she’s going to sell. The rest end up BACK in the attic where this whole story began.
ONE of the things she sold she forgot to mail out the night before going away for a few days. The buyer was expecting it at a specified time and it needed to be mailed “tomorrow PLEASE!” I am a 50 year old man and somehow I’ve managed to dodge the Post Office for pretty much all 50 of my years. I just have a great wife that handles things like that and it’s not a place I ever need to go. So going in I had the address of where the item was going and the item itself.
I would not have known where to even begin if not for the welcoming and sincere “how can I help you today?” I was greeted with by Allison behind the counter. She walked me thru every step, explaining everything along the way in a manner that I could probably walk in next time and mail something myself! She was great. When I tell you she not only banged out every step of the process she did it happily. Just exactly what service should always be when someone is “working” somewhere. Thank you Allison. I hope you see this and you have a better day because of it. I was the clueless guy mailing the football jersey late on a Friday. ?”

“Today I had a surprisingly great experience at this post office. There was an older gentleman working there who was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of service , especially from a USPS. This has been the best experience I’ve had at any branch so far.”

“Amanda was super helpful, explaining the difference between priority and ground shipping. She also shared tips on getting free priority shipping supplies in-store and online. Great customer service and a delightful experience!”

“The Post Office at 1179 Main St in Wakefield is honestly a little hidden gem. It’s only ever really busy a couple of weeks before and after Christmas, which makes most visits quick and easy. One of the regular staff members, a woman who works there often, is extremely friendly and does her job very well—always professional and efficient. I can confidently leave prepaid packages without worrying about needing a receipt or whether they’ll get scanned properly.

I almost hate to leave this review because I don’t want word to get out and have this place overrun with humans, but credit is due where it’s earned. Great service and a stress-free experience every time.”

“Renee is the best, she is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Honestly the entire staff here is a delight. I drive from two towns over to use this USPS. They deserve a gift, gratitude, and an award! Thank you for making a tedious task such a positive experience!”

“Great location for retail service. People mistake this for the processing plant all the time--01889, Middlesex Essex is a different place so if you have complaints about your package being stuck, it's not the fault of the North Reading Post Office. Matt the window clerk is always friendly and helpful, I enjoy coming here for my postal products!”

“We are a local business and the folks at this location were beyond helpful in getting us set up with Change of Address, etc. I also love the building they are in. Great people, great service.”

“Excellent service here. I come here because my town USPS is so terrible lol. USPS has been gutted by the gov to push private companies to take over but the problems from that isn't the fault of the location. The employees here have always been super helpful and friendly.”

“This post office is somewhat small, and the location is right on a very busy street. However, the location of this post office is convenient for me because it's extremely close to where I live. Plus, the customer service is good and quick.”

“David at the Dracut office goes above and beyond. I had a package stuck for TWO WEEKS in Orlando, at their USPS distribution center. David kept me in the loop about what was going on, even reached out after I received the package. Not often we acknowledge when someone actually goes above with customer service. Wish more were like David.”

“Excellent service. I went today and the folks who were wrapping up for the day were so kind that allowed me to drop my mail at 5:29. Yes. It took me a while to gather my mail and pack it and they helped me. I am very grateful.”

“I enjoy going to this location... I was new to the area and the desk attendant Bob was very kind and welcoming. He always has such an energetic personality that almost allows you to forget anything else that's wrong with your day. Overtime his demeanor has been unwavering. He genuinely is kind and I always look forward to his exuberance when I come to this location. Jim is also kind and often has candy. Overall I would recommend this location most importantly because they also pick up their phone which saves you a trip if you can have you a question clarified over the phone. I just hope their Self Service/P.O Box portion was 24 hours like some or opened later”

“As I know that the lady sometimes does not response right away after you asked but she is really nice. Not to mention that she works all by herself, she is really sweet because I went there a lot. :)”

“Tom is the best! Went there yesterday. He even saved us money on the envelope by suggesting to use our own. Now this is customer services! Greeted us with a smile and welcoming attitude. Wish I can give 10 stars. Drove to this one instead based on other negative reviews for the one on North Andover.”

“I am assuming she is Italian, not sure. However, the woman in the post office today was completely fun and smart. Beautiful woman inside out despite the line growing. She was so chill and professional. Instead of making me wait again in line. She stamped the letter and I was done already before I know it. I came here once before and let me tell you, the guy I can’t remember what was his name or what nationality he could be from, sure he is white, but definitely from somewhere. He was absolutely hating his job. I had to send two letter certified with return signature requested and he acted like I sent him to Africa to dig some gold in extreme temperature with no water. He was ridiculous. Every job has its positives and negatives. It’s the interactions with the customers that makes your day better. I understand there are definitely rude or vulgar or those who think they are better than everyone else, but the way he was disgusted with his work was concerning. I almost wanted to go to another post office, but too bad I already started filling out the forms.”

“People were very very helpful. Did not expect that they go to the extra mile to solve my issue, although they were busy. Did not expect this cooperation. They are alll good stuff the employees and the supervisor”

“The staff that help me with my packages have been very efficient and friendly. Only problem I have with the E. Arl branch is that sometimes they are closed for an hour or so in the afternoon. (Now I know to go before 1PM) Arlington is lucky to have two post offices within a mile 1/2 of each other, though, so if I don't have time to come back to this small Post Office, I can go to the main one.”

“Never had the so called bad experiences that some other people on here have commented about. I have been there at least 50 times over the years. You’re in and out pretty quick.”

“For a very small post office, it's a good office. I wish the hours were extended later but there's only one worker who also works at the post office at a location off post so I understand why. The service is good but they need more selection of flat rate boxes.”

“Very conveniently located on Massachusetts Avenue in the heart of downtown Lexington. The building is open 24 hours a day, thus dropping off outgoing mail at any hour of the day or night is very easy.”
