first time I came here the guy spelt my name wrong on my card, second time I went I specifically told the lady I needed a new card sent too me, she never sent it, 3rd time I called, the man had absolutely no idea what he was doing, and connected my bank account too my mothers which that was not what we were asking for. Overall this bank is terrible and clearly has people working there that have absolutely no idea what they are doing or dealing with.

I'm curious how that person knew it was her daughter? Anyway all my experiences with Pam have been both professional and profitable

This branch is awful. The Personal banker Pam is really rude. I was there for some help with my account and she was on the phone talking to her daughter for almost 15 mins. I was made to wait in the lobby while she kept talking on the phone. Is this what real customer service? Never ever visit this branch again

This bank is terrible. The customer service is some of the worst I've ever seen because they don't care about the customer only the money. The bank manager is very rude and condescending. When dealing with a problem I went to the Tewksbury branch hoping to get better service. When I was told they could not help me there I went back to the Wilmington branch and was greeted by the branch manager Tanya with an "I know who you are, i know you spoke with the manager in Tewksbury. Did she not relay the message to you?" When I said yes she replied with "then what are you doing in here today unless it's to close your account." I will NEVER use Sovereign bank again. I will NEVER recommend this bank to people. These people should not be trusted with your money.

The customer service at this bank is horrible. I have had numerous issues with them in the past but I`m now done with them. The latest saga begins with my requesting a replacement debit card in mid-July. The woman at the bank said no problem, you should receive it via usps in 5-7 days. I let two weeks pass and having not received my card went into the bank and inquired about it. I was told the card had been sent to me and I should have received it so she allegedly canceled the missing card to prevent fraud and ordered me another-again to arrive in 5-7 days. Fast forward another two weeks and I still have no card, so once again I go into the bank to inquire about the situation. This time, I end up speaking with another woman who informs me that the second card I ordered has already been activated. I assured her that I had not done that and asked her to check the activity on the card of which there had been none. She then cancelled the second card and told me that, you guessed it, my new card would arrive in 5-7 days. Later that same day a debit card arrived in my mailbox and confused went back to the bank and asked the woman I had spoken to earlier which of the two missing cards this was. She informed me that it was the first ( ordered back in July). I then said you mean this is the original card ordered over a month ago that was supposed to arrive in 5-7 days? She said yes, there must be a problem with the postal service in your neighborhood otherwise you would have had it weeks ago. I informed her that I've never had such a problem in the past and that my bills never fail to arrive like clockwork. I then asked her that since I finally had a card in hand, could it be activated for use. She said no, it`s been cancelled, you`'ll have to wait for the one I ordered for you this morning to arrive. I left her office unhappy, but didn't`t know what else I could do so on a whim I inserted my "canceled card" in the atm in the lobby, entered my pin and was able to make a withdrawal. While I was pleased to have a working card the problem is that I know that there is now another supposedly canceled card floating around somewhere that probably isn't canceled. In closing this is only the latest of several nightmarish problems ( and the final straw) that I`'ve had with this bank and I would not recommend them to anyone.
