“Spice & Grain has become my favorite spot!! So convenient to have in my town and a great selection. The local meats, dairy, and produce are great, and I love that I can fill all my grains in reusable jars! Never sift through your expired spice cabinet again, get the amount you need so that you can have fresh spices with every meal! Plus the nitro cold brew coffee is a must while you shop around!”

“We have shopped at Market Basket Athol every week on Wednesday morning for the past several years, and travel 1/2 hour each way to do so because the values are so great. But two of the departments that require direct customer service, the deli/seafood dept and the prepared foods at the cafe (we often get lunch at the end) had really degenerated in the past few months. Service in both departments had gotten inattentive, slow and sometimes even rude. The quality of the prepared foods had gotten uneven and sometimes poor (sloppily made subs, overcooked chicken tenders, foods not available). But this past Wednesday there were new people manning these two areas, and our experience was very positive. Workers were quick, cheerful, energetic, and very courteous and competent.. It seemed there has been a shake-up in staffing, which positively affected our experience. And even our check-out experience was better than before, with new, more competent checkers and baggers. We hope these changes will continue! Shout out especially to the person who made our meatball sub, she was genuinely responsive, competent and upbeat, and I thanked her for that!! When you pair good value with great customer service, that’s a win in my book! Keep up the good work! (Note that not all of the “older” workers were lacking, and we saw that they were still onboard)”
“I now do all my grocery shopping here. They always have everything I need and more. The store hours allow me to be able to shop early in the morning or a little later at night. When other local places are closed, this location is still open and I can just run in to get what I need and then checkout quickly. They always seem to be well stocked and are usually actively replenishing the stock while I'm shopping, but they are very helpful and not in the way.”
“This store is my favorite to go to. Friendly service and a wide variety of convenience items. They also keep up on the kids hard to find squishy items through out the year which has been a life saver in my household ♡♡♡”

“I come through Fitzwilliam often when visiting family and picked up a few plants to take back to CT. The tomatoes produced 3 lb. froits in abundance and the 2 eggplants produced 16-18 apiece. Saved some seeds, but misplaced the eggplant so i'LL BE BACK IN SPRING.”

“Hannaford's is my go-to store in Gardner. Carries a variety of foods, reasonably priced. Check the flyers to be sure. Out of the 4 grocery options in town ( Walmart, Price Chopper & Aldi are the other 3), I like this one best”

“We love shopping our local Walmart... not too pleased to be asked for our receipt while we are making our way out. I'm not going to dig through my wallet to find where I stuffed my receipt, it's not going to happen. If you want to ensure I paid for all my items(which I do, every time, I'm not a theif) than they should hire someone to scan my items for me!!”

“I've been here a few times in the past during those times the place was absolutely disgusting and the items were sometimes up to or over a hear out of date.This store has over gone a complete remodel and now I cannot find a single thing to complain about, the variety is outstanding for what it is, the shelves for the most part are stocked, they've brought in items that I haven't seen at other dollar general stores in my area.The best thing I like about it is the self check out, the one problem is if you have alchohol or you need cigarettes you'll have to go to a regular checkout and the wait time can be a little lengthy as I've typically only seen on person there doing just about everything.In the hour plus that I was in there as everything was moved around I did not see anyone at the register and the one person that had alchohol and wanted cigarettes left after waiting for fifteen minutes.The best part that this store has to offer is the refrigerator and freezer section and the selection that is offered and it is most definitely worth the drive as I live in troy and it's a twenty minute drive from where I live but it's more then worth it.I would highly recommend that you go and check it out just dont be surprised if you spend a little more time in there then you normally would because of the items they have and the remodel.”

“I really like Not Just Produce! Their steaks are out of this world. Whatever they use to spice their spicy chicken wings, they do a terrific job of it. Their twice baked potatoes are to die for. The Mexican dip they make is pretty dang good also. The hamburger is a cut above the rest. Let’s just say for a small store their prices are comparable and their meats are extremely tasteful. I’d be lost without them!!!”
