“My wife is much more of a pen and stationary enthusiast than I by miles, but I do appreciate nice pens, carry useful and well made EDC items and recently fountain pens.
The store could not be better stocked and more charming and the owner could not be more friendly and knowledgeable! My daughter even collects little mouse dollhouse toys they sell there each time we stop by… We live farther away now but always make time to stop by when we’re in the area!

“What a find! The Crafty Yankee is one of those great little shops where you want to take everything home. It's just full of perfectly picked items that make you think, 'Yep, that would look great in my house.' It's officially my new go-to for gifts, and the fact that they'll gift wrap for you is a huge plus. You’ll find a great mix of things—cool jewelry, amazing-smelling candles, stylish glassware, and cozy sweatshirts, just to name a few. They also have the best selection of Lexington 250th anniversary stuff I've seen around. I honestly can't believe it took me this long to discover this place!”

“If there is one place I could visit in all of Boston before I left Boston, it would be this store! It has the most hidden gems - ranging from transit merch to vintage maps about almost every place you can think of! It also doubles up as a great used books store! This place feels more like a museum than a store, and truly is the collection of a lifetime!”
“We rented a chuppah and talit from Kolbo for our wedding and also bought a Ketubah and glass from them and they were wonderful throughout the process! Pickup and drop off of the rented items was seamless and the Ketubah (handmade) and glass were beautiful and delivered in a timely manner”

“Such a fun experience! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to show me products that weren't even on display. I left with things that I loved (all Pokemon products).There are a ton of Studio Ghibli things, so definitely stop by if you like that. I was surprised to see that they had Ponyo merch. Haven't seen that anywhere!”
“Amazing!!! I had to buy my wife a 9th anniversary gift with a week left on the clock. I realized it was pottery and I thought to myself perfect! Pottery is made of clay and there is literally a store around the block called Paper & Clay! How could I go wrong,l. I’m clearly the best husband that ever existed to put this together.
Within 5 minutes I had my present picked out with a matching card to boot all in one place and the owner Leslie, who is amazing, even wrapped it for me!
My only regret is Google doesn’t allow me to give bonus stars!

“I love Brissonte! The owner Colleen is incredibly kind, talented and has the most unique gift items to which she creates incredible displays for.
I run wreath workshops in her event space. This area is clean, cheery and can hold approximately 20people comfortably to complete a craft. This is a great venue if you are looking to host your own event!”
“I miss this place! I lived in Boston 13 years and used to walk to this place: it was my go to “treat yourself” shop. I have so many crystals from here and goddess statues. Some of the crystals are excellent and rare pieces at great prices. I’ve got three stunning opals I got from here. I loved going here. The cutest shop.”
“The fruit bouquet was as pictured, thank you! The balloon was not what I ordered, that’s ok because I understand inventory changes.
My issue is the delivery was made at 5:10pm, that’s the end of a work day so I’m disappointed.”

I miss the old days when they sold furniture, but I love the children’s section and have found some great home decorations in the current setup.”
“This store is so cute! Davis Sq if my favorite part of Somerville, it's very neighborly and this store encapsulates what I love most about the area! “While walking through The North End, I stopped in here just because it was appealing from the curb. Loft & Vine did not disappoint. I was able to find cute trinkets, jewelry, and gifts for me and my loved ones back home. Everything I found was unique from their felt flowers, cooky stickers, character ornaments, and more! To top everything off, the staff was lovely and made me leave with a smile on my face.”

“Recently my daughter was sick, land I ordered several things from Grandma's Chicken Soup. On the day the order shipped, my daughter was admitted to the hospital - and wouldn't be home for the delivery. I emailed them, and not only did they respond, I received a phone call! They were able to stop the delivery, and will hold it until she gets home - at which time I can have it sent. This was superb, thoughtful Custer Service - totally unexpected, and so very appreciated.”

“I go there a lot. Nice store -ALL are very friendly but ONE omg!!She’s been there for Atleast a few years , she’s watching you like your going to steal something OMG ,is not pleasant at all . I notice thisWhenever She is there . But yesterday -I just couldn’t believe her attitude . I was waiting to go in dressing room and she comes over just standing there I said. I was waiting to be next . She says well someone is in there . I said yes I know that ?♀️ After trying on a few things iWas attempting to put them back. One item I was able to. But then she took it away !
