“Went in and finally found exactly what I've been looking for for years! The store had an amazing inventory. The vinyl selection was extensive and I walked out with 4 more than anticipated. They had the coolest band tshirts, knick knacks and LED signs. Definitely a must if you're into Vinyl Records and other nostalgic must haves!”

“This shop was one of the best shops I went in, went in there four times during my four day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. If you like April Cornell, and any kind of table cloths and goods, you must go into the shop. The two ladies that own, it are delightful.”
“This store is my go to on MV for gifts and funky coastal affordable artwork. Marie (the owner) and her family stock the store with class items of all price points, some being MV centric and others for locals. They have day wear items and great sundresses as well…. if your suitcase got stuck at Logan they have you covered. It’s the Anthropologie of MV.”

“The store owner was amazing. She was patient and knowledgeable about all the products carried. As the name states serenity, she seems to take pride in creating a serene environment. When another customer was talking so loudly on her phone (via speaker) that we could barely hear ourselves, she politely asked her to refrain from cellphone use. Even when the other customer became belligerent she handled the matter extremely professionally. I highly recommend this store. I could not have asked for better customer service.”

“Server Jillian was great. Food was excellent. From salads to seafood to dessert! Atmosphere was old school Cape seafood. Rustic and cute. We went early for dinner to avoid any crowds. Outside of building needs some work. Wasn’t particularly appealing - windows, paint, awnings, the “open” flag & restaurant’s name plaque on the building all need of repair. We went because of recommendations. We will visit again. Thank you.”

“Rainy Day is a must stop on your visit to Vineyard Haven. This charming, quaint little store has an eclectic selection of local products that range from home goods, décor, clothing, jewelry & fun trinkets for the whole family. You name it this place has it. Upon entering you are greeted by the arousing aroma of candles, soaps & lotions. The displays are well laid out & thoughtful, filled with personality, almost as if Martha Stewart herself designed the interior. The staff go above & beyond to make your visit memorable. Alyssa gave us a tour of the store & made helpful suggestions & was super accommodating. She even personally wrapped the gift I bought for my sister, it was so sweet! Her bubbly personality & demeaner really set the tone for the store & elevated it that much further. If I could give this business & their staff more than a 5/5 I would. Do yourself a favor & come take a gander at the fine wares they have over here at Rainy Day, you shan't regret it. Your visit to Martha's Vineyard wont be complete until you do.”
“I recently Had the opportunity to visit the island. This Gift shop was filled with souvenirs for not only yourself, but for all the people you would want to share a little of your adventure with. Yes! it is very convenient as you are coming off the ferry to find a gift shop as you are crossing the street and if you forget something it will be right there as you get ready to head home. Prices were the best that I encountered paying less for the same items That the other gift shops offered. You can bet your dollar You will find it at Neptune's Sea Chest. Don't let negative reviews stop you from stopping by and having a look for yourself. I loved how clean and organized it was and the staff was super kind and helpful too!
