Awful experience would never try and use them again. I was in a car accident yesterday so I needed a rental, I paid online with my debit card then took and Uber there and was informed I need a credit card for a $250 deposit. I don’t have a credit Card so I asked if I could use cash or a debit card I was told no. I asked if they would take a credit card over the phone from a family member and was told no which I don’t understand why not if they will let me pay the $500 rental fee online?? So now I have to wait 5 days for the refund and I have no money to get a different rental car, I’m stranded without a car because of these ridiculous policies that they don’t mention before you pay online. They were absolutely no help you’re much better off going to any other rental company besides them, I’d give 0 stars if I could.

This rental was frustrated due to the problem after 3 days rental return at Logan Airport in Boston. 3 days after vehicle returned I received the text from Budget said my rental is overdue please contact the budget to extend the rental. I contacted budget by phone, person on the phone said they will do the investigation and give the call back but no one contact me. I decide send messages from the website to open the case #, then next day they sent me email required additional documents to do the investigation. Luckily, I took couple pictures at the time the vehicle returned the location, the vehicle that I submitted to budget, then they produced the final receipt and closed the rental agreement. For the future, don’t trust the agent at the return ask you to leave the key in the vehicle and you are all set to go, then they will send you a receipt. It was really frustrated and wasted my time of this rental for unnecessary issues.

Agent who completed the rental did not do a walk around prior to signing the rental agreement. Upon further inspection, I noticed the car had multiple instances of damage both inside and out. So i returned to the rental location to make sure they were aware and they were aware of all but 1. I have rented from Budget before with no issues but I will definitely not return to this location. The lack of care as well as the condition of the car was sub par.

Local service A+++. Joshua helped me check out just before 6pm. He was absolutely amazing! Very professional and polite -- keep him!!I wish I could say the same for Budget's corporate call center. They refused to transfer me to the local office. If Joshua hadn't been so helpful, this would be a completely different rating.FYI: they don't do after hours drop off.

Staff at the Worcester, Massachusetts budget location on Grove Street were all amazing both at pick up and drop off! They were kind to offer a few vehicles accommodate our family for the needs of our vacation! The vehicle was very comfortable to travel in and very comfortable all around! The vehicle was new clean And very advanced with technology! I would highly recommend!

Our grandson was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I flew into Massachusetts in order to take care of my granddaughter while my grandson was in Boston receiving care. My daughter and her husband would be with my grandson in Boston. I picked up my car from Worcester. It appeared dirty. They assured me it was OK, as I didn’t have much time to get to my destination I drove the car. By the time I got an hour and a half to our daughters home in Rehobeth, the car was vibrating severely. When I arrived my daughter and her family were shaving my grandson’s hair in preparation for chemo and radiation. After a couple hours I asked my son in law to see why the car was shaking so badly. He drive the car around the block and said the car was not safe to be driven. It was 8 pm when my son in law told me the car should not be driven. As they were leaving to go to Boston at 8, I decided to call budget at 7 am. I called customer service and was told to call roadside assistance. They said it would be a two way tow! Then roadside assistance sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle but did not bring me a replacement vehicle, even though I had requested one, and been told one would be coming. Every time I called budget I was told that I had pre-paid for this vehicle and could not get a refund. I have tried to work with them several times. They told me to go to a rental location and ask for a replacement car. I explained I could not because I had no way to drive! They still did not help me and refused to refund my money, charging my credit card $450.00for 2 hours of a car! We have always used Budget…never again! They left me stranded at a time I was already in crisis! This is a company without a heart!

I got a great price I had to extend my rental and still got a good price on the extension the counter help was fantastic my only complaint would be the 800 number and all the prompts via computer very hard to talk to a real person

All I can say, is Hire people that know what they're doing! Secondly, learn customer service and the customer is everything to your business! Thirdly politeness goes a long way, and do not downgrade your customers!Customers are the lifeline of your business learn it live it and know it!!!
