I am new to the area and was running low on money. Empire loan gave me more on my necklace than I ever expected! The transaction took minutes, and I was treated like I was someone important. I found my permanent loan and pawn shop. I highly recommend Empire loan! 5 stars!!

I've brought many pieces of jewelry there that I just don't wear anymore. Empire Loan always gives a fair price and should you decide to just take a loan on your jewelry and not sell it, they don't charge and absorbident amount of interest like other pawn shops. Other shops charge as much as 30%, even if you picked the piece back up 3 days later. I will always do business with Empire Loan. It just makes good sense!

Staff is not the friendliest. Very awkward interactions with feelings of hostility directed towards customers at this location. I’ve pawned my gold chain here a few times between 2020-2024 and even though the price of gold has increased over the years, the store refuses to re-evaluate a piece they’ve already given a loan on. At least that’s what I was told the last 2 times I pawned my necklace. I think this is a bad practice and frankly unfair. Now I can only get a loan for about 25% of my piece’s value because of these practices, when initially it was about 50% value I could get a loan for. And they forced mask wearing during lockdowns also a very bad move in my opinion.

The inside itself may be small and there is not always a lot of inventory but the people who work there are very helpful. I would recommend this spot over and over again they were able to take my laptop that is a few years old for a loan of almost 400$ when no other pawnshop would help me. I've gone there many times amazing service.

Always a great experience! Have been there before and because of their help was able to get back on my feet! Older lady is very smart and knowledgeable as are the others and I got a top dollar loan!! Would recommend to anyone even close family!
