“We were invited to The Grand Fountain Bar Debut at Beechwood Hotel, & what a beautiful evening! ✨🥂 Built between 1929 & 1931 by Pierre S. du Pont, the Grand Fountain features stunning French-Baroque-inspired architecture. The Birbara family purchased it with the vision of restoring its beauty, & they’ve created an incredible outdoor space perfect for special occasions. 🌿 We enjoyed signature cocktails & flavorful small bites, including my favorite, the lobster roll! 🦞 Chef Derek Arnaldo’s attention to detail truly shines through. Looking for an upscale atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, great food & drinks? The Grand Fountain Bar at The Beechwood Hotel definitely worth checking out! ✨

“Overall nice clean hotel and exceptional staff! However, parking was inconvenient as you have to go across the street and up to the 7th level. Breakfast was not worth the additional cost add-on for it. Would recommend, just get breakfast locally.”

“Stayed one night, very convenient to U Mass Medical Center. Room was clean, bed comfy...upholstered chairs were a bit frayed but no biggie. Made use of the large work desk and TV in the room. Took us a minute to figure out it also operates as a homeless shelter. Why were so many people wandering the hotel in their PJ's!! The clientele also made breakfast in the way too small 2nd floor breakfast room interesting! Staff is aggressive but in their defense some folks don't understand how to act in a buffet. Left to there own devices, they would take piles of food, grabbing without the use of utensils. I watched one young man take all the bread and all the jelly packets. I get that he likely needed it but if your going to mix homeless folks with folks paying for a hotel, with amenities tensions run high.”
