“The price is moderate, the green vegetables are not very fresh before buying so choose carefully the vegetables, apples, strawberries, potatoes, oranges, pineapples, chicken at very good prices, snak prices here are very cheap and I bought them. Saved a lot of money buying snacks for my 2 kids. It's inconvenient to get a stroller and have to pay money. Sometimes I don't bring a bag so I can't get the stroller. If you go during the week, you will be able to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, but if you go on Sunday, there is almost no fresh food”

“Well, where do we start? Downtown Worcester has had a decreasing number of options for grocery shopping. This is true especially for those with limited budget. There is one good steadfast exception however, and that is Gala Foods. This is a nice little market that ticks many boxes. It's proximity to both Downtown as well as other peripheral neighborhoods. It's also very affordable and offers many options for a range of shoppers. The fresh food section is excellent and has options you won't find in those main stream stores that aren't so close by. This makes Gala a win for Worcester and it's diverse residents.”

“Their pupusas are the best in town. You can even eat it without the salsa or salad that they give you. My favorite is Frijo con queso. Ps for the food you have to pay cash, everything else card. They do have an ATM inside. Parking can be a pain at times.”

“I get fish and chips for my family every Friday and the seafood department does an out standing and efficient job at preparing the food and making their customers happy. They have amazing customer service and get to know their regulars well! They have a great selection in seafood as well and many other seafood dinners for the best price, I enjoy getting my meals here and making my family happy and keeping the business running 10/10 would recommend!”

Dairy products, meat, water, liquor, sweets etc can be found here. I almost forgot to talk about their sea foods?. If you are a lover of crabs and lobsters l bet you will enjoy buying from Price Chopper. You will have the opportunity to “point n kill” the lobster of your choice.The employees are young, energetic and very friendly.
