Financial Advisor I met with (Sam) is awesome. Very disappointed that I attempted to open an Estate Account for my late husband and was told that UMass Five WOULD NOT allow it because 'he' wasn't a member (even though I am and I would be in charge of the account). Then it took almost 2 weeks for UMass Credit card to notify me of an alleged breach on my card - blocked the card and now won't send me a new one for '7-10' BUSINESS DAYS. Considering a new bank, and definitely a new credit card co.

I had the most helpful and informative chat about our finances with Sam. His willingness to speak clearly and openly about what we've done right, and what we might consider changing, was welcome and refreshing. Our conversation is now ongoing and look forward to having some consistent support from now on.

Took 5 emails to become a member because documents emailed were not new enough. They needed W2 for SS#. I have the same SS# no matter how old my documents are.
Took 2weeks to transfer money from UMassFive to main bank. No one kept in touch to inform me that first 2 transfers did not go through. Had to call and find out myself.
The second failed transfer no one could tell me why it failed.

I visited this location for the first time, looking to apply for an auto loan. Dina Leavitt made the application process a breeze. She informed me of all the documents needed for the loan and walked me through the various options available to me. She was able to answer all my questions and explained the add on like GAP insurance, life insurance and mechanical insurance. I also opened up a savings account while there. The entire process from start to finish took about an hour and 15 minutes. If you find yourself in need of a loan or need account, Dina will make the process a breeze!

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever experienced. I am transferring all my banking needs to UMass Five!!! Every person I have talked to has been so professional, helpful and explained every step of my loan process. Not to mention. The prompt processing and amazing follow through. Highly recommend!!!
