Their customer service is truly top-notch, and they've consistently gone above and beyond to support me. The staff at UMassFive are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They take the time to understand both our business needs and my personal banking needs and thrive at providing personalized solutions. I do not have a branch that is super close and UMassFive still makes banking a breeze. Their online banking platform is user-friendly and convenient. Absolutely the best customer service I have ever experienced. I am transferring all my banking needs to UMass Five!!! Every person I have talked to has been so professional, helpful and explained every step of my loan process. Not to mention. The prompt processing and amazing follow through. Highly recommend!!!

This is either a front for some shady operations or they have no idea what they're doing. I have taken loans for houses, yachts and cars with no issues but this place can't put together a measly solar loan.

After speaking with Sofia at the Hadley branch, and getting all the required information she told us we would need, we were turned down from opening a CD with the interest rate stated by Sofia. Her incompetence has caused us to lose out on the stated interest rate she had quoted. People answering important questions at this bank should be able to handle a simple question about the rates at their bank. This has caused my wife and I to lose interest on our money. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

Horrible experience doing business with this credit union. Worst customer service ever had to deal with. It takes 72 hours to reply to a simple message and when you call with urgent matters they direct you to an "encrypted" messaging system which is really dated.The horror doesn't stop when they finally message you back and tell you to call the same number that directed you to the messaging system.They have the same old lady on the phone every single time you call who takes forever to type and but my guess has no clue how to use a computer..Oh, also when you ask to speak with a manager they never call you back.I'd rather pay a little higher interest rate than ever do business again with this credit union.

This bank is distinguished by being the very worst company of any kind I have EVER dealt with in my entire existence. Interest is being over-charged on my student loan, I have to wait LITERALLY 2+ hours on their phone system to talk to anyone, no one has any answers, I can't talk to anyone who can help me, their website is unnavigable, and they have virtually no online functionality. Do not ever put your money in this bank or obtain a loan from them. They are predatory and the complete absence of customer service is unlike anything I have ever seen.

They can never get my name correct, nor do they care that they can't. They had my address wrong in their system so I have to go to get every piece of mail that they have for me. Again the mailing address is wrong on their end but it led to so many problems that I can not receive cards from them. Interest rates are VERY high for a credit union. People are general massholes there, basically they take pride in being rude.

As an employee here at UMass I figured I would bank through UMass five. Bad decision, customer service is horrible, unwilling to work with you, I have worked with two people on loans. The one who refinanced my car was wonderful, the one I spoke to about a personal loan was extremely rude. Not to mention the website is always down. Highly do not recommend

Application to heat loan was poorly handled by people in the consumer loan department and I gave up proceeding my application. The manager constantly showed protective tones during conversation. I would recommend other commercial banks for better and more helpful services.
