“I just cannot say enough about Route 20 Animal Clinic, Dr. Nick Kotsopolous, and staff, especially Colleen. My parents and I have been taking our pets to the clinic for over 20 years. Dr. Nick is so caring, patient, and understanding. Often he's returning calls until 8pm and has given his personal cell phone number if there are any issues post sedation, regardless of procedure. From tumor removal surgery to dental cleaning he calls to check on our pets. He will also ask about how my parents are doing and their pets when I go for a visit with mine. Colleen is fantastic with grooming. My long haired cats would get shaved in the summer so they were more comfortable and she always made them look so adorable and smell so nice. She's also so kind and compassionate, plus prompt with returning calls. If there is a specialized surgery Dr. Nick can't do, he has always referred me to excellent surgeons. For end of life issues, the staff are above and beyond caring and loving. This doctor truly seems to love his work and it will be such a loss whenever he does retire. Comparable rates, prompt response, varied services, excellent care. If you want an excellent veterinarian, Dr. Nick Kotsopolous at The Route 20 Animal Clinic is the one to see.”

“It’s been 6 years now since my girl Rose has had to be put down due to cancer here, but I will never forget the care, attentiveness, respect and dedication they showed throughout the previous 10 years she was a patient there. Rose was a pitbull but despite the stigma extremely friendly, we would joke that if someone broke into our house she would just leave with the thieves, she was that friendly. And we still reminisce about how everyone there knew her and one time as soon as she walked in a technician exclaimed, “oh my god! It’s Rose” and she was so so happy she practically jumped to wait her turn because she knew the routine already. I wish I remembered that techs name but thank you for all of your years of care for my love Rose.”

The professionalism, knowledge, communication, kindness, and patience were consistent across the board, making me feel much calmer in a very anxious situation in which my dog was being evaluated for cancer. They also genuinely seemed to enjoy my dog’s presence, and gave her lots of love and attention! She tried to follow them back into the treatment room as we were leaving! 💓 The facility was spotlessly clean and the follow up after the visit was an added element that really made us feel cared for. 10/10 would highly recommend! 🐶”

I went to Tufts, they didn't do their job and I went there. They do theirs within 2 hours, not even I was in and out, got medication for my girl. Because of that, she's alive. I can't thank you guys enough. You've saved all my animals. My whole life, my mom's whole life, even my grandmother's whole life.I can't thank you enough.You saved all of my babies and you saved my girl this time too.And now she has an awesome exotic vet.There they both do.I've two girls, guinea pigs, and you know what, I couldn't ask her anything more.They saved her life i knew they would also because they've done it uncountable times every one of my animals in the past.
