Beautiful room, Beautiful view in the towers. Suggestions, please put a comfy chair in the rooms. The windows get really wet and a lot of water on the window seals from the cold weather. Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

We didn't stay here. We were there for Special Olympics. They do a great job hosting this huge event.

BEWARE--RESORT USES "BAIT AND SWITCH" TATICSWith the help of a great Reservation employee, I booked exactly what I needed for a family celebration. 3-Bedroom "upscale, luxury condo in a perfect walking location. I have stayed here often and knew what the different lodgings that are offered and how they measure up. Got to the resort and was told that I was in a Terrace condo--which I knew I did NOT want. Told front desk clerk and then again the Front desk manager what the Reservation man had told me and what I had told him. Wouldn't have reserved if that is not what was explained to me that the condo would be. After tons of excuses and back and forth, me even offering to pay additional money for what I had reserved ended up with the manager telling me how great the condo was, that I could call him if I didn't like and really nothing else available in resort. If I could have gone anywhere I would have--3-bedrooms alright--1 bedroom had twin beds for one tall adult couple whose feet hung over the end of the bed, a closet-size bathroom to be shared with 4 adults and any guests that stopped by, The full size kitchen was a KITCHENETTE that only fit 1 person at a time. Only 5 DINING ROOM CHAIRS and 1 couch and 1 chair in the "living area" for 6 adults........I can go on from there. Let's just say that the Joel the "Front Desk Manager" refused to help, we had been "reassigned to a different condo" which was allowed and didn't I read that in the small print on my email. He didn't care, he just wanted us out of the lobby, wouldn't give us his managers name so we could reach out. SAD, SAD, SAD.

Forgetting the fly problem in the hotel lobby, it was really okay.

Came to relax and get away from home. I gave GTR&S 3 stars because it was... Lackluster. The room we received was updated..but the bathroom in our room while nice, Needs a sliding glass door to prevent water from getting on the floor. The rest of the hotel shows it's age...including the pool. Don't let the pictures posted online fool you. It's very underwhelming.Other than that our stay was great. We enjoyed our time.

A large group of us come every year for a wine tour we will never stay here again. Upon arrival, valet was great and helped unload our bags to keep the traffic flowing. But that was the only good service we received the entire weekend. The lobby bar was dirty, had fruit flies and the bartender that acted as if we were a bother, so we relocated to the Tap room and unfortunately had the same greeting and terrible food. The Brunch buffet at Aerie shut down less than 10 minutes after I arrived. What was left of the food was cold and stale. Then as I sat and waited for the bill, I continued to watch other guests arrive and get served food from the menu. I'm not sure why I wasn't offered the same and never care to find out. Not the hospitality I expected from a well renown place.

We stayed in the Premier Triple Room and loved it. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The room offered a great view of the property. The bathroom was very spacious and the shower had great pressure. All staff members were very friendly. The pool area was clean and the pool water was warm. The only negative was the halls, elevators and the pool area were all on the cold side, other than that we loved the resort.Rooms: Very comfortable and clean.

My husband and I had a couples massage. We both agreed that Hannah and Alisha provided the BEST massages we have both ever had. We are coming back to Grand Traverse Resort even if it just for those two and their exceptional skills!
