Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is a well-run conference venue, praised for handling large events simultaneously while providing excellent service, quality meals, and a very clean environment. The staff is described as fabulous, attentive, and on top of everything. Rooms are noted for being very clean and comfortable with great views, and beds are comfortable. The location is gorgeous. However, the hotel feels aged, and some rooms lack amenities like a sufficiently cold fridge or a microwave. An extra charge for a late checkout was disappointing. The Aerie restaurant receives high marks for delicious food, including seafood and steak prepared to specification, and outstanding specialty cocktails. Overall, it is an impressive and amazing place for a getaway or conference.
Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is an excellent getaway just about 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The setting is beautiful, the resort grounds are top-notch, and it’s perfect for golfing or even a wedding destination. I would highly recommend staying here.

Attended a work conference here. Stayed in the tower rooms. Room was very nice and clean. Hotel was a little upscale with boutique shops and restaurants. Ate lunch at Jack's Tap Room. Food and service were great.

We took advantage of the Valentines Day special and it was beautiful! The brunch. Buffet at Aerie was Marie Gras themed and high class. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs during winter and the comfortable and relaxing bed!
