Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is a well-run conference venue, praised for handling large events simultaneously while providing excellent service, quality meals, and a very clean environment. The staff is described as fabulous, attentive, and on top of everything. Rooms are noted for being very clean and comfortable with great views, and beds are comfortable. The location is gorgeous. However, the hotel feels aged, and some rooms lack amenities like a sufficiently cold fridge or a microwave. An extra charge for a late checkout was disappointing. The Aerie restaurant receives high marks for delicious food, including seafood and steak prepared to specification, and outstanding specialty cocktails. Overall, it is an impressive and amazing place for a getaway or conference.

We love this place! The housekeeping staff always does a great job. The tower rooms are absolutely wonderful.

Hotel room (not in tower) was large and bed was ok. TV volume was at 70 and couldn't hear well, until a commercial came on. A/C worked, but not great. Shower was one of the waterfall heads, and was pathetic. No pressure at all. Buffet breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Friendly servers.
