“They are a “If we don’t have it, you don’t need it,”. They have several stores in the chain of lakes area. They joined several stores that were struggling and that’s a good thing. The only thing they, all the satellite stores lack is a handyman’s lumber section. Certain stores have regular lumber yards but you better know your lumber yard lingo because what you need won’t necessarily translate into a word that will help the yard man find what you need. Unless you speak “lumber” tell the write up man what you are doing, and what you think you need, he will tell you in very simple terms, you must be stupid, the correct answer is “yes”, then tell him what you are doing and he writes it up and the computer spits it out, 2 copies, one for the yard boss and one for you, don’t lose it, you do, you lose, unless they know you and have your money they will fake it. It’s one of the greatest experiences a son learns from his dad especially if the lumber yard has known your family since Columbus needed a few planks to get him up to Oak Island to bury some treasure. I’m not kidding except about Columbus going to Oak Island. That’s like a Spaniard going to Finland in February for relief from the heat and sun. Ain’t happenin!”
