Our guests just returned from a once a year boat ride for ice cream experience. They went to Higgins with warm memories of past visits there. Instead, they were served by a woman who demonstrated serious attitude issues. She made everyone feel badly. Unfortunately, It left a stain on their memories of your establishment. This happened on Friday, July 5th around 8:30 PM

Just not the same as the old Higgins. Used to feel like you were getting a lot of ice cream for the money. Now it just feels like any other ice cream place. Also, this is Michigan, home of the National Cherry festival, and there wasn't a single cherry ice cream in the line up. Come on, man!

Fantastic ice cream. It was hard to pick. Their flavors have intense flavor. Way better than the more popular other local ice cream shop. Beats Kilwins hands down. Prices are half what other ice cream shops are. Service was great

Disappointing! My family have been big fans of Higgins Ice Cream for years. We were overjoyed at the return of Higgins to Alden last year. However, they do not value their customers' time or business. Continually closing early is very disappointing. We will remember this - and the curt & unapologetic response from the proprietress - and go elsewhere for our ice cream delights.

Neat store with attached icecream stand. Not many flavors to choose, but enough to satisfy. Offers a handful of toppings. There is no "mixer" machine here, so only scoops, malts, shakes are available. Decently priced. There is outdoor seating and picnic in alley next to building.
