If you’re looking for beautiful flowers and a side of extreme public embarrassment for someone who really deserves it, Romulus Flowers & Gifts is absolutely the place to go! We’ve been here before, but this year, the staff took things to a whole new level of hilarity when Mitch, our fantasy football league’s biggest loser, had to pick up a floral order dressed as — get this — a hairy fairy ballerina. ?
The costume? Oh, it was the stuff of legends. Imagine Mitch, a bearded man, in the frilliest, puffiest pink tutu, complete with ruffled bottoms that would make any toddler pageant queen jealous. His frilly ruffled bottom bounced around with every step, drawing even more attention to his already cringe-worthy outfit. And when he turned around to wave to traffic, let’s just say the view from behind was... unforgettable. ?
The staff could not stop laughing the whole time, especially when they had him perform “I’m a Little Teapot” in front of everyone. Watching Mitch awkwardly bend over with those ruffled frills on full display was easily the highlight of the day. That limp wrist and delicate little tip at the end? Honestly, Mitch, you seemed a little too comfortable in that costume! ?
As if that wasn’t enough, they sent him outside to wave at passing cars with a giant "Flowers & Gifts" sign, showing off that bouncing ruffled bottom for the world to see. The honks and laughter from drivers just added to the spectacle.
And don’t worry, the staff promised they’ll be posting the whole thing on social media soon — so if you missed Mitch’s big debut, you can relive it online! ?
But let’s not forget the flowers! Their floral arrangements were stunning, as always — vibrant, perfectly crafted, and absolutely beautiful. The service was top-notch, whether you’re there for a bouquet or to witness the public humiliation of a grown man in a tutu. And the best part? The team already agreed to help us embarrass Mitch again next year if he loses our fantasy league. Now that’s customer loyalty! ?

The florist is so talented and the type of flowers used for my arrangements were like none I’ve seen before. Definitely secured my florist and it’s Gardenia. Cannot wait for another occasion to order again!”
“I went in to thrifty florist after my usual go to florist didn’t have the bench I wanted to order for my best friend’s funeral. I was upset and desperate to make sure that my best friend had the most beautiful bench ever. The lady at thrifty was phenomenal she showed me all the bench, she helped me pick out the right one. She helped me decide what kind of flowers to put on it. She sent me a picture of it before it was sent out for delivery. I told her it was beautiful, but I wanted to see if she could put a sash on it that said BFF and she said yes no problem. I will definitely be returning to this store for all of my floral needs. I might add the cost was $30-$40 cheaper than my local florist.”

“THE BEST FLOWERSHOP. A hidden gem. I go here all the time. It’s the oldest greenhouse in Michigan and family owned. Every holiday they have something for the community and kids for example on Easter they have an Easter bunny and free photos for the kids and Santa for Christmas, etc. Very welcoming and the variety of flowers is endless.”

“highlights of Kroger's let me see well there's always at least 300 people trying to take bottles back that's pretty fast second the store is so small it seems like it gets fully compacitated by an hour after it opens I'm talking shoulders shoulder I guess that's being friendly and you could say goodbye to the covid restrictions at Kroger's people don't wear their masks they don't care about social distancing this is the lines are so long I stood in customer service yesterday for 45 minutes and that's pretty bad but yeah Kroger's is good you should come”

“I ordered birthday flowers over the phone from this florist in Livonia as my Aunt lives in the area. While they are really pretty I don’t think they represent $100 worth of flowers. It is purely my opinion, I have ordered a huge amount of flowers for delivery over the years, and I have seen many pictures that were sent to me from the people that receive them and I just don’t think it matches the amount. That’s why I gave one less star. They were very friendly and very efficient, delivered them in the time I wanted. Maybe I’m wrong but I would have expected more roses or pricier flowers in the arrangement that’s all.”

“I am a former employee of bakery dept at 15255 Michigan Ave in Dearborn. I gave 5 stars for one reason only LAURA J. She is the best cake decorator I have ever seen. Her customer service skills are phenomenal. She is an excellent trainer. She is very patient and thoughtful with new employees. She did not expect you to learn things overnight that she has practiced for years. I took a picture of her skills in progress. Due to staffing she is not doing special orders but she can write on a cake if you get there early enough. I made sure the bakery was cleaned nightly. You could literally eat off those floors. ?”
