Huge rip off. Way too expensive and I had to call them to find out that my dogs stool sample came back positive for a parasite.

I had adopted a 10 month old puppy from the Humane Society was given a certificate to take her to the VCA that the certificate was worth $250. She should’ve gotten a distemper vaccine when we were there and they did not do that and stated that just for the check up the certificate was used up. The call technician when I realize that she wasn’t given the vaccine and I called back that I was told that I needed to bring her back. She also stated that the certificate has expired now. Never was I told that I needed to come back within so many days to get a the vaccine. This place is a rip off. I will never go back again.

Do not recommend if your animal is sick. I picked up a stray cat and took her in. She started to get very sick the second day I had her. I took her to vca to get her help. Set in a room for nearly four hours all while my cat is clearly dying. Didn’t even put her on an IV to get fluids in her when I first got there. I waited in the room with my animal for 1 hour and 45 mins before the actual doctor (vet) came in to look at her. I waited 4 hours in that room all while my animal was dying on a steel table . The only thing they did was take blood and recommend an x-ray. It took them 4 hours to simply take a blood sample. The blood came back, they said they don’t know what’s wrong with her. They believe she might have been Poisoned. The vet gave me three options either rusher to the ER, they said we can give you fluids and a IV and take her home. In the vets words the actual doctor she said even with fluids she’s not going to make it. The third option if I wasn’t going to rush her immediately to their ER then my best option was to but her down. All while I’m sitting in a room for four was watching my poor cat die. I said we better put her down I don’t want her to suffer anymore. Well, it turns out after I paid them 414.00 dollars as soon as I left, they gave her fluids and she made a full recovery. I’m not sure what kind of practices or procedure this company follows it seems to me the profits are more important then the actual care. I will give them credit for finally doing what they were supposed to do four hours later helping my cat. I 100% would not recommend bringing a cat to this place. It was a very poor experience, and there doesn’t seem to be much structure or care with inside their organization. The fact they tried to put the guilt on me for not taking my cat to the ER is cruel. It’s truly despicable when all my cat needed was fluids.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICEEvery visit I am in there at least 3 hours, every time. Same old excuse given to me, “they weren’t supposed to make any appointments until after said time.” I always wait hours on end and spend more than any other vet charges hoping my dog is in the best care.Dr. Wheat was the last Dr to take care of my dog. She prescribed her medication but neglected to weigh my dog. I even told the front desk my dog has lost weight since last visit. They did not weigh my dog and had her in for 25lbs heavier than what she actually was. The medication prescribed caused heart problems with my dog and within a week of my visit with Dr. Wheat I had to pay more money to put my dog to sleep.I have reached out multiple times. A few days prior to putting my dog to sleep. Dr. Wheat reassured us that she weighed my pup herself in the back. I even spoke to Dr. wheat myself and she refused to take any accountability for not weighing my dog after I told her what had happened. She even said the manager would reach out and call me. After waiting 2 weeks the manager still has NOT reached out to me. They did not take my dog serious and rushed through her visit because lack of care. I am taking all steps necessary so another animal doesn’t get treated poorly the way my baby did.

Over an hour wait. High prices. Spent $450 on one dog for routine checkup. $1500 on other dog and they still haven't let us know results of tests. This was all over a 3 day period. Will be going elsewhere in future

Front desk and vet tech were both pleasant, but I was placed in a room to wait with only one chair, which I didn’t think was a problem at first because we (two people and a cat) didn’t think we’d be there long enough to need to sit down anyway. When the vet, Dr. A, finally came in she was rude, didn’t seem interested in listening to anything I said, and expressed annoyance at a 3-month-old kitten for wiggling around while she listened to his heart. I started petting him and he immediately settled down, but it really seemed like the first time she interacted with a cat. Since she’s been a vet for many years, I can only conclude that she doesn’t particularly care for cats, or people for that matter. In the end, we received a dewormer and the physical exam. We were there for TWO HOURS, taking turns sitting on the chair and the floor. Nobody acknowledged the long wait, nor lack of chair. I almost laughed when they tried to schedule a follow up appointment when I paid to leave, yet they continue to ask me to review my experience online and send me email and text reminders to come back for vaccines. Not a very personalized experience.

They always treat my animals well and don’t miss any questions I have. They want what’s best for my babies and that’s all I care about! The staff are kind and always make sure to go over treatment cost first.
