Cuts For Mutts
1301 S State Ave, AlpenaMy dog has a fear of getting his nails clipped because he's bled before but Kate was extremely kind, gentle, and patient with my Chihuahua. She sang to him, she moved slowly and calmly. She rewarded him with a bow tie and an alligator treat. He didn't bare his teeth, bark, or try to bite her. She had all the necessary equipment to keep him and her safe.
An overall incredible experience.

My squirmy nine-month-old poodle puppy isn't always the easiest to groom, but they've done an amazing job every time I've brought her in. They're very accommodating and their prices are reasonable. If your dog needs a trim, this is where you want to go!

217 W Chisholm St, AlpenaTook our Aussie in for a hair cut. The guys there was AMAZING ? I didn't catch his name but he went above and beyond. Our dog looks and smells so good. His ears and nails on fleek ? ? ✨️ I had to our dog in with both my 3 and 1 year old and on our way to pick our dog up my 1 year old fell asleep. It is a 35 minute drive from our house. So he even brought our dog out to our car so I didn't have to get everyone out and wake everyone up! Thank you again for your above and beyond service ? ❤️

It won't disappoint. We also had portobello strips, jalapeno poppers, the bourbon buds sandwich, and a couple mules (caramel apple and an orange).

9027 W Long Lake Rd, AlpenaHad the pleasure of breakfast/ lunch at the Sand Bar and Grill today. The staff had their extra room set up to accommodate our reservation for 20+. Our waitress was excellent and served the children first, got all the orders perfect! The kitchen accommodated our group by making both the breakfast and lunch menus available, and rolled out the orders so everyone had a nice hot meal, giving our family time to visit as some waited. Everyone was very satisfied with their food from the delicious omelettes and bowls, fluffy pancakes and waffles, perch and shrimp baskets,and pizzas. We are return customers but it was a first time experience for some of the guests, who vowed to return. It is awesome to have such a wonderful restaurant on Long Lake. Kudos to the owners and staff.
