About Ramada by Wyndham Alpena Hotel & Conference Center
Ramada by Wyndham Alpena inn rooms are clean and nice. People are helpful and friendly. Rooms are quiet even when the inn is full and are easy to checkin. The bar has food that is fine but the liquor and beer selection is poor. Breakfast is not desired; no eggs at 830 am and only one complaint. The pool and spa are relaxing after a 6 hour drive. The hot tub area and pool table are ok but the area around them is not very clean and the pool table is out of order. The sliding glass doors are filthy and floors are not very clean. The bed is too soft for a bad back. Attendant is efficient, keeps things clean and stocked. The rate is surprisingly reasonable. The old holiday inn holidome has nostalgia and is not as cool as the frenchtown holidome in Perrysburg Ohio, but people like it and hope it continues to stay open. Alpena is a real nice Michigan town with many beach access sites.
Made the trip to Alpena with no lodging plans. GREAT prices and friendly staff

Rooms didnt get cold with AC. Bar food was fine. Liqour & beer selection at bar was very poor. People were cool at checkin and bar service wise.

The rooms were great. Even though the hotel was full the rooms were quiet .Checking in was easy. The pool and spa relaxing after a 6 hour drive. Breakfast was not to be desired. No eggs at 830 am said they were done for the day, My only complaint.
