“After having been in and seen at least a couple of the rooms/units in recent months, amenities that are offered are: wi-fi, with refrigerator in your room, microwave, cable TV, while at least one of their 10 rentals comes equipped a full kitchenette; microwave, cook top range and oven, a full size refrigerator/freezer as well as your own parking space.
This establishment is located within a reasonable distance to fast food with drive-thru, convenience store/gas stations, dine-in food establishments, as well as a Dollar General nearly as close as a gas station. And too, as the name implies the 'Water's Edge Motel' offers an additional accommodation of big lake beach access only steps from Waters Edge Motels available parking.
Fully wheelchair/handicap accessible while also offering rooms having a keyless entry feature.

“Not a bad place for a quick roo. With no reservations. Privately owned it seems. Older place but it was clean,even gave us a towel for wiping the dew off the bikes”

“Love the location next door to Meijers and Walmart and Hone Depot across the street.
Walkability: There are plenty of stores in a 1 block radius.”
“Exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms; everything in room is in good working order and rooms are refreshed. Excellent value for money. (Don’t let the ratty, grimy, dilapidated couch in the lobby near the front desk give you a bad impression when you check in.) I enjoyed my stay. Pleasant, quiet, clean. Easy five stars.”

“Great place to stay with my two German Shepherds. I stayed in the same room that my wife and I had in 2019, but they’ve removed the carpet and replaced with a tile floor -much better from a pet room perspective, but you may want to bring a bed for your fur babies. Some dirt and mold around the gasket and door bottom of the fridge. The tap water from the bathroom sink is very slow, but not unworkable. Friendly staff at front desk and housekeeping. Comfortable bed. This is my go-to from a price perspective!”

“The room was very clean but in need of some updating. The door knob to the bathroom did not work well and was sometimes extremely difficult to open once closed.
The room was cozy and quiet. The owners are great and pleasant to talk to.
The location is great for visiting Alpena and the surrounding areas.”
