Courtyard Ann Arbor is a hotel that offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful front desk staff, with some reviews highlighting exceptional customer service from staff members who went out of their way to assist during difficult situations. The hotel is generally clean, with spacious lobby areas where guests can relax and enjoy televisions. The rooms are described as clean and comfortable, though some find the hotel to be aging and in need of updates. However, there are several issues reported. The hotel’s heating and cooling systems are problematic, with some rooms experiencing difficulty in adjusting the temperature, and others having fans that won’t turn off properly. Noise can also be a problem, especially with loud cleaning staff in the mornings, starting around 8 a.m., which can disturb guests who are trying to sleep until the noon check-out time. Additionally, the hotel lacks some modern amenities such as microwaves, USB charging stations, and breakfast options, which are standard in many other hotels at similar prices. Elevators are described as old and raggedy, and the in-hotel restaurant and bar are considered overpriced. Overall, for a reasonable price, Courtyard Ann Arbor provides a clean and spacious environment with friendly staff, but it is somewhat outdated and has issues with comfort and amenities that may affect guests’ overall experience.
Stayed here for a week and arrive was great. The front desk people treated me like family. Will be back for sure.

Only down side, parking lot was not well lit for the size of hotel, after dark parking lot is mainly dark, staff was friendly at check in, and gave clear directions to my room.
