“I am a certified MI Wedding and Event Planning Consultant at Splendid Events and visited the Scottish Rite Masonic Center for the first time last weekend for a client wedding ceremony and reception. I have nothing bad to say about this venue, there was plenty of space for 200+ guests, the food was delicious, and the staff was wonderful! They were so friendly, helpful, and had an eye for detail.”

“We checked in late in the evening and staff was friendly. We heard people complaining of kids running all over the place. Staff must have handled it as we didn't have any issues. Rooms were spacious and clean. Water pressure was weak and the pancake maker was out of order. We were just driving through and it was a nice spot overall.”
“Washington Lanes — Friday Night Fiasco ?
Went on a Friday night. Rookie mistake. The place was packed tighter than a bowling pin setup, and to make matters worse, the pull tab machine was down — so there went my chance to feed my totally healthy gambling addiction.
We got seated next to a herd of teenagers who apparently missed the memo on personal space and public decency. One even launched their ball into our lane… but it knocked down all my pins, so honestly, who’s the real winner here?
The place was clean, I’ll give them that. The staff? Let’s just say they had the enthusiasm of my dad’s crusty toenails — but at least they showed up.

“Great place to stay for the Bay City fireworks as far as location! Best pricing we could find last minute as well. The hotel is very clean and the room was nice.
They did not have a microwave in our room so that was a downside plus our toilet is completely clogged and unusable. HOWEVER the front staff did put us in a different room to satisfy this issue as they had no maintenance on duty (probably bc of the holiday). But we thought the toilet was working again so changed our minds bc we liked the location of our original room more just for the toilet to get worse. But overall it was a decent stay, nice cold ac and a quiet place.
They do only offer the indoor pool now which is 3.5 feet all around but still was a fun little time to swim and the jacuzzi was HOT - comfortably hot!
I would most definitely return here as the staff was accommodating and with renovations going on supposedly you couldn’t even tell”
