“While I didn't end up making a purchase, I'm glad to have stopped in. The car sitting out front is what caught my eye and brought me in, so kudos to whoever came up with that.
Wide selection of items, varying from furniture, signage, clothing, and musical items! Plenty of trinkets if that is what you're into. Wonderful atmosphere with kind staff who are happy to help should you have any questions.
I'll definitely add this store to my rotating list of places to check inventory on every couple of weeks.”

“Decided to take my daughter to her first ever visit to a consignment store. This one is a very nice consignment store. Very friendly. And good selection with good prices. The industrial feel with the color coordinated rack and smaller items on the center table really made the experience of trying to find something much easier. Talking to the woman at the desk, we learned that this store was once at Eastern Market and was relocated to this area of Grand Blvd. Thank you for having such a welcoming environment.”
“Really nice local resale and new item shop. Antoinette is also a pick-up location for WISH orders. Very friendly staff and every day there are discounted items and sales. Well worth stopping in to see if there are items for you. Nice selection of men's wear as well as women's garments and shoes.”
“Was reminded yesterday how wonderful this place is after a few years of not visiting. Reasonable prices, good quality and really made me nostalgic for how vintage stores used to be before they got crazy expensive in the last 10 years and filled with old forever 21 pieces. Got my dress last minute for a wedding and grateful that there are still local brick and mortar shops like this!!!”

“As I walked in the door, John greeted me, very friendly chap he owns the resale shop. Lots of high-end goodies he had this awesome chandler owned by Matt and Kelly Stafford. Some really nice furniture also had a huge Jimi Hendrix painting $10,000 dollars a little to rich for my blood. I did buy something, so it made my day! If you're in the area, I would recommend you stop in and say hi to John, and you never know you might buy something that will make your day!”
“I visited this value world for the first time while in the area and was thoroughly impressed! I frequent some of the other south east Michigan locations and this one stood out to me on size, organization, and cleanliness. I felt like some pieces were more reasonably priced than what I’ve been seeing at other locations as well. I didn’t have time to go check out the whole store so I will definitely be back! “This is the second Value World I have visited. I usually enjoy thrifting but this is one of those places where you need to be mentally and physically prepared to dig through everything since their stores are so packed.The prices are okay. I had a digital $5 coupon since I signed up for their texts. I put it toward a scarf for our toddler. The cashier wasn't overly friendly and didn't seem to be thrilled to be there but she did get us out expeditiously.”
“I came here once several years ago. I was treated so kindly and given a fair pawn amount. Later when I came to pick up my item I bought several pieces of jewelry. I felt like a human and not a way to just make money off me as a customer. I always return here periodically, just because :)”
“The clothing racks seemed a little bare to me, it’s a pretty big store though with lots of other items like furniture and toys. I was happy with what I found and they offer both teacher and student discounts on Thursdays which is super nice.”

“I dropped off saws in working condition today. One friendly , one kinda sour person unloaded the saws. The Royal Oak Salvation Army store refused to take the saws. The Southfield store inside is very spacious.
I picked up a couple of place settings earlier; it was exactly what I was looking for.
I like this store better than the Royal Oak store.”
“Well platos closet is kinda like I they racist a lil I brung 2 new pair of kids Jordans dress out the box they said they can't take becuase of smoke I just a cigarette before walking in these shoes was never wore brand new box kinda mess up but the shoes where brand new in then I when in there fresh this not my first time experience this type of look first time my cloths was brand new Nike out fit that never been worn at all they said the couldn't take it these Jordans just came out in these Nike outfits was new it happen around 1:50 pm 09/04/2025 I'm like I shop here n the shoes they have be beat I swear I could easy get almost 90 a pair a shoe at a shoe store that trade shoes it's cool I took too a store in Utica got bless they brand new out the box”
“Great prices on many items if you find items on the 50% off days in that color. Found pieces with store tags still on them even. However, some of these items were priced at $4 more than the store tag that was still on them, thus the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.”
