“One of my favorite local Value Worlds, great selection, reasonable pricing as long as you aren't looking for name brand items then its just not even in question.. wish they would stop price gouging on higher end items again just to make an extra buck and make things even less obtainable for others... but ya'know that seems to be how everything is lately. They make money while we struggle to pay for clothes... anyways, great selection.”

“Steve and Vogue Vintage are amazing! We found a beautiful mid-century cabinet with tons of character, and Steve—the owner—personally delivered and installed it. Exceptional service and a truly unique selection. We'll definitely be buying from them again. A great find in the Metro Detroit area!”

“This place had really great items like traffic lights, vintage clothing, toys, cups, coins, artwork and more. Coffee for customers and a restroom were available.

My only issue was I spent over 20 minutes in this store stood next to and was passed by, by employees or vendors and it was not until I checked out that I was spoken to.

I was very interested in the traffic lights for my garage however I was not going to spent that much money when I was not greeted When I entered or while I was looking around the store which I did numerous times since I was visiting from another state”

“I had a wonderful experience at this boutique. It is very well organized and brings a feeling of a luxury store instead of consignment. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Birmingham.”

“I truly couldn’t recommend Allison more. I brought in my second-look dress for minor alterations, and she completely understood my vision and elevated it beyond what I imagined. She is incredibly talented at what she does, I’m so grateful!”

“If you're in the area and you love vintage and nostalgia, you have to stop in!! A great old shop on Vernor, a few doors from Holy Redeemer. The building itself is like going back in time. They carry vintage clothes, shoes, even Western vintage. There are hats and purses, buttons and stickers. Lots of Detroit themed items and unique finds!”

“My wife loves this place. I was a little leery of going alone to attempt to buy a gift for her but Erin was SO helpful and SO nice. I brought pictures of my wife's jewelry and Erin was happy to take a look and help with my selection. I ended up buying a necklace and earrings that matched a ring my wife had previously purchased from El Dorado. Erin's keen eye caught that ring in my pictures and made my gift giving so much easier.
Check this place out for sure. There's a ton of cool items and you'll get a healthy dose of a truly beautiful soul named Erin...”

“Mama Coos is truly THE best vintage shop in the metro Detroit. The owner does justice to vintage decorations, clothing and textiles. Her prices are incredibly fair and her curating is spot on. For brooches, clothing, that little special something—head to Mama Coos.”

“stopped by the other day while visiting my friend in the area. As a rat owner, I was clearly drawn because of the name. Little did I know there would actually be a sweet rat inside to greet me <3 it was great to shop and talk about rats for so long, I will definitely be back!”

“Went here earlier today! I had a great experience, such nice pieces and a variety of clothes and the prices are reasonable! This is a hidden gem!!! It’s definitely worth going to if you love vintage and trendy clothes! The staff was also very nice.”

“Was reminded yesterday how wonderful this place is after a few years of not visiting. Reasonable prices, good quality and really made me nostalgic for how vintage stores used to be before they got crazy expensive in the last 10 years and filled with old forever 21 pieces. Got my dress last minute for a wedding and grateful that there are still local brick and mortar shops like this!!!”

“Staff are always friendly and helpful. This hidden jem in east Dearborn is a one of a kind spot to pick up great antiques and vintage clothing and jewelry. Most people don’t even know much about this place but it’s definitely worth coming back to if you like antiques or just old stuff.”

“Really fantastic, well-curated selection. The items are on the pricier side, but still fair compared to what these kinds of pieces go for online. The employees are friendly and helpful. I left with a great leather jacket and had to exercise a lot of self-control to not buy more :)”

“I came here once several years ago. I was treated so kindly and given a fair pawn amount. Later when I came to pick up my item I bought several pieces of jewelry. I felt like a human and not a way to just make money off me as a customer. I always return here periodically, just because :)”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

“Employees are basically kids, but the nicest and most helpful kids. These aren't my favorite kind of places to go, but if you have to take someone there, it's as good an experience as you'll get. Recommend.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Jennifer & Everything Home did a great job for my family and I. Prompt, reliable, great service, knowledgeable, always there to help. Thanks again!”

“I see lots of low reviews on here but honestly I feel this is one of the best thrift spots in Detroit. People who complain about the closing time announcements should come earlier. These folks work hard all day long. If you’re complaining about prices, it’s definitely more affordable than any goodwill. If you don’t like the management or the prices then shop somewhere else. More for the people who appreciate this location.”
