“Great place to shop and also to consign. I usually donate all my clothes to SA and I decided to give this a try. I took my items and they looked through them while I shopped around. I was offered some cash-20 something or 40 something in credit. I took the 40 something and got 2 pairs of nice jeans! It was smooth sailing. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 is because I wish they would keep track of my credits. They are on a flimsy thin coupon which is so easy to lose!”
“These are the BEST resale stores ever. I have shopped at at least 4 of them, however the Warren store has been my favorite since 2011. My granddaughter has been shopping with me since she was a little girl, she's nineteen now and she loves shopping there as well. I tell people I meet all the time about this place when asked where did I get this or that, I proudly say Value World. I brag about you a lot. “Favorite resale store. Convenient location in Pontiac on N. Telegraph Road. Check it out every Friday for specials on the tag colors. Only complaint is they use staples to anchor the clothes price tags. Get great bargains on pictures and lamps and more. Bought a wooden chair there years ago for $2.00. Cleaned it up and love it.”
“Was reminded yesterday how wonderful this place is after a few years of not visiting. Reasonable prices, good quality and really made me nostalgic for how vintage stores used to be before they got crazy expensive in the last 10 years and filled with old forever 21 pieces. Got my dress last minute for a wedding and grateful that there are still local brick and mortar shops like this!!!”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

“Well platos closet is kinda like I they racist a lil I brung 2 new pair of kids Jordans dress out the box they said they can't take becuase of smoke I just a cigarette before walking in these shoes was never wore brand new box kinda mess up but the shoes where brand new in then I when in there fresh this not my first time experience this type of look first time my cloths was brand new Nike out fit that never been worn at all they said the couldn't take it these Jordans just came out in these Nike outfits was new it happen around 1:50 pm 09/04/2025 I'm like I shop here n the shoes they have be beat I swear I could easy get almost 90 a pair a shoe at a shoe store that trade shoes it's cool I took too a store in Utica got bless they brand new out the box”
