“How to bathe a 70 pound German Shepherd that doesn't want a bath? They make it so easy to show up and they help you figure out what to do when you're new. We managed our girl into the tub, in spite of her resistance and got the bathing done in less than half an hour. Wonderful to NOT wind up with a soggy bathroom floor and have to prep and manage getting our bathroom situated to do it at home. This is a great idea to service bathing your dog and the gal we had didn't make us feel bad for coming inside the last hour before closing. Our fur baby girl needs the medicated shampoo that has to be left on her to sit 15 minutes and again the large tub and ability to contain her really helps out. Great place to get the job done!”
“Chaps is a diamond in the rough! With all the big box and online pet stores, it's nice to be able to go in, have a conversation with someone who is knowledgeable about their products, not be rushed and pay a fair price. And, they have supplies for your chickens! It is a fairly small store but every inch is packed with products. Support your local small businesses!”

Our groomer Jess who we followed from a previous location is very professional and makes me feel comfortable leaving our pup for his services each time. She is so precise and talented!! I love the fact that Scrubbers sends out multiple reminders leading up to the appointment as well as sends an automative text message when the service is complete! Really happy to have found a groomer we love and looking forward to our future grooms here at Scrubbers!”

“My partner and I disagree on how we wants our dogs hair cut. I like it shorter and she likes it longer. Brooke, the very sweet person who groomed our dog, was amazing. She listened to the situation and was able to come up with a hair cut that worked for both of us and he turned out amazing. He's adorable with long scraggly hair but there is nothing like an amazingly blended/trimmed up hair cut to make a dog feel like a prince. Thanks again Brooke! You crushed it!”

The selection is great and the prices are good, often better than the other pet supply stores and warehouse clubs. Pets are welcome. If you have a question, the staff is helpful and willing to offer recommendations. It's unfortunate that the store on Livernois in Troy closed several years ago and still sits empty.”

“Filthy Beast is our go to shampoo for dogs! Its high concentrate makes it last a long time! Their dog perfume is top notch! In my opinion their customer service for kennels and groomer is amazing! “In my opinion this is the greatest pet store in the area. The staff here are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My husky pup, Nymeria, loses her mind with excitement when I ask if she wants to go see Michelle, a managers at the Troy location. She and the other staff are worth their weight in gold. All of the staff members seem to love their jobs here and that makes for a great environment. If you need help there is always someone happy to help. If you would rather browse or shop alone they are happy to give you space.I have used the bath tubs that they have in the store to wash our pups in and it is a must if ever they are in need. They provide all of the products needed for a sparkling pooch and varieties of soaps, conditioners and more.The store has great high quality products. It is nicely organized, clean, and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about this store and this company. The other major bonus, in my opinion, is that the company is owned by local families. Local does not mean that you will sacrifice anything that bigger stores have to offer. I find it to be quite the opposite.”

“Great selection of healthy dog snacks. The pricing is very reasonable and affordable. They occasionally give little samples of treats when you purchase treats. My cat's favorite treat from there are the apple chicken bacon chips. One bag of them includes A LOT of chips that last a long time for one cat.”
