“Didn't take good photos right away. Though this has been the best haircut! Nothing fancy was requested, but detailed trim around the tail, paws, and nails was quite impressive and unique. It was regular cut but never saw this level of detail and practical style in common troublesome areas. Will definitely be a repeated customer!”

“Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, certainly does not have the feel of a big box store, with a lot of fun and welcoming decor. I take my pup Griswold for baths regularly and the tubs are always clean, the products are fully stocked, and their equipment is easy to use. One of the best parts of coming here is the digital punch card system. I have lost more bath cards from other pet shops than I can remember. Will be back very soon!”
“Ive known this store for decades. It was once a school field trip for me in the late 1980s. My mom had a bird and always taken it there and shopped there in the 1990s. I had fish for 20+ years. I always get my pet fish from there. Their fish are nice and healthy. I was there today to get an Angelfish and a plecko they were very helpful. They had alot of variety of birds there including the large colorful macaw that is always so sweet. Right now they're under renovation construction, so theres not a whole lot there currently. Im sure once finished it will be awesome. Thank you”

I would like to thank premier pet supply for making available the twenty five percent discount no restriction coupon, without a limit This made a huge difference when you're feeding 2 big doggos & you're buying premium kibble in 40 pound bags. I was able to save a ton of money -I did stock up thanks to the long expiration dates of our brand of kibble also got the equivalent case of canned food. The savings is incredibly significant , and I can't thank you enough. A sincere woof woof thank you from the furballs & me to Lilly Dylan and the whole Premier Pet Supply team. It’s like self-serve car wash! The raised tub has a door for your doggy. You can hook their collar to an attached leash if needed. They provide waterproof aprons for humans. The sprayer has rinse, shampoo, rinse, conditioner, rinse, and clean tub.
Dry your pooch in the tub with a blower with high & low speeds. Lots of fresh towels. The entire bath area is enclosed so your dog can have a treat while you rinse out the tub.
Easy on your back.”
“Val’s Pet Supplies is a Clawson staple and exactly the kind of non corporate, family run business everyone should support. Having lived away for a time and not having an animal for a while, returning to this shop was a top priority after deciding to adopt our cat, Layla. It is wonderful to find that the store is still just as good as always and has been a reliable part of the community for a long time.
The store has a classic, dated feel that is becoming harder to find, and it is honestly better that way. There is a real charm to it staying exactly as it is. This lack of corporate flash is likely what helps keep the prices so much lower than the competition.
It is easily the best place around for a specialized and comprehensive selection of cat supplies at prices that consistently beat the big box stores. There is also a fantastic dog selection, a variety of small animal supplies, and even bird seed in bulk. Almost always, there is a good clearance bin to check out for extra savings, and the staff is more than happy to order specific items if they are not already on the shelf.
Getting in and out is very convenient since you can pull in right off Rochester Road or use the back parking lot entrance off 14 Mile. This makes for a quick and stress free stop every time.
Beyond the great prices, the staff is just wonderful, and everyone greets you the second you walk through the door. There is even a community cork board just inside the front doors for the neighborhood to post about lost or found animals, which really shows how much they care.
It is reliable, professional, and run by people who truly care about our community. Definitely skip the chains and give this local shop your business!”

“We took our puppy, Daisy, in for a nail trim because she won't let us touch her paws at home, and Sarah took care of her with absolutely no issues at all. Daisy is completely obsessed with her! She even remembered Sarah from the week before.
We bring Daisy in every Sunday just to walk around and get comfortable being out and about, and last week she was so excited to see Sarah that she actually peed on the floor from excitement! Sarah was incredibly sweet about it, cleaned it up without hesitation, and still showered Daisy with pets and attention.
Sarah is truly amazing. She is patient, kind, and clearly loves what she does. Employees like her make all the difference, and she absolutely deserves a raise—if she hasn't gotten one already! Thank you, Sarah, for making Daisy feel so loved and comfortable every time she visits. 🐾💕”

“I went to pick out a few giftcards and some dog toys for my kid’s teachers who both have dogs (and a fun new toy for my pup). When I walked in it wasn’t busy, but there were staff members walking around making the place organized and keeping an eye out to see if anyone needed help. I passed the salon and someone was dropping off a very rambunctious fur baby (obviously toddler) but happy dog. The staff didn’t act exhausted, even though it is close to the holidays, but were genuinely excited for their time with this guy. As I checked out with my giftcards and toys, the cashier rang everything up and then double checked the balance on the cards to make sure the recipients would have no issues using them. They really do care here, and it’s worth my time and doesn't cut into my threshold of “dealing with people” by going to this store. 10/10”
“My nephew found a black kitten with gold eyes. They're super scared of cats, so he called me in the middle of the night to cone get her, or they kill her.
So I kept her a few days, but I have an adult female cat that does as she pleases like she pays the rent.
They didn't get along. Hissing, snarling, growling, etc, so I couldn't keep her. The shelters were full.
My last hope was the Anti Cruelty Society. They afreed to take her!! I was so thrilled and happy that they could find her a home!!
I donated a tote full of canned car food. God bless them for helping me and Kamari( I named her already.)

“I have bought these bags multiple times now. I was primarily looking for a bag with less environmental impact and this fit. I've bought both the individual rolls and the lg roll of two hundred bags. The bags are easy to tear off the roll and easy to open for use. However, the last purchase I made the bags were tearing down the side about 30-40% of the time. I filled out the form online providing my order # (easy to find) and asking if they would consider replacing the box. The response was SAME DAY! And they went way above and beyond. There was a manufacturing issue which has been corrected and product effected removed. A new box is on the way for me AND a refund, totally more than I asked for. I liked the bags before, I will be a loyal customer going forward!! Thank you so much to Kai and the kind email exchanges. I am super happy I found a great company to support and feel better about my environmental impact. Thank you!!”
