“Dr. Ast is the best vet I have worked with in 22 years and the animal world is a better place because of him. In so many ways he goes above and beyond, from taking the time it takes to find the solution, or explain things to me, or communicating outside of visits to coordinate care and adjust home treatments as needed. He is super gentle with my dogs, but engages, calm and systematic in assessing, and does not overtreat/overtest - which is a great counter to my own neurotic approach to my dogs. The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and I don't think I've seen any turnover since I started going there - a sign of an excellent practice. Thank you Dr. Ast and all the Plaza staff!”

“I have had nothing but good experiences with Gasow and I am happy to consider them my main vet that I continue to go to. I have brought my cats here for aid for different reasons and they have always done their best to help me and work within my limited budget. Vets are not cheap, but they do understand financial struggles and will do what they can to help you. They truly do care for your pets.
I unfortunately had to let my baby Moon go at the end of May this year and I went to Gasow, with a visit not planned for that, and they took very good care of me and my baby Moon. it was a difficult situation where when I brought him in knowing what was going to happen but I didn't want to believe it. It was the most difficult decision I ever had to make, but the doctor assured me that it would be an ethical treatment for my baby. They took very good care of my baby, let me hold my baby the entire time. They let me keep the blanket my baby was in during the procedure, and they informed me thoroughly of everything that was happening before, during, and after the procedure. The experience of helping my baby Moon no longer be in pain was very difficult but much more comfortable than when we went to OVRS to help my eldest cat pass. The rooms alone were a striking difference. Gasow had a very calm and quiet room with sofas and soft lighting, allowing you to be as comfortable as you can be. OVRS was simply just another vet hospital room with harsh lighting and everything uncomfortable.

When I first brought my cat to Gasow, I knew that my babies would be taken care of and they have continued to build up confidence that they will truly take care of not just your fur babies, but you as well.”

“The Greenfield Animal Hospital has been exceptional with our sick kitty! When I initially reached out to them with my concerns, they got back to me within an hour and got her scheduled in the next day. The techs and vet were so sweet and gentle with her as they ran their tests and provided us with some treatment options. I really appreciate how attentive and compassionate they've been during our follow up visits, as well as how easy it is to communicate with them between appointments. I felt like they genuinely cared about my cat's health and were eager to give her the best care they could. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially for the high quality services they offer. While my cat does not like leaving the comfort of her own home, they really do their best to create a safe and welcoming environment for pets and their owners :)”

“I wanted to take the time to leave a review because I think people are often quick to speak up when something goes wrong but don’t always recognize the people who are working incredibly hard when things go right.

The staff at Tail Waggers 1990 deserves that recognition. During my experience, I saw a team working hard to take care of clients, answer questions, keep things moving, and most importantly, make sure the animals were cared for properly. Even while they were busy, I was treated kindly and respectfully.

The compassion they showed toward my pet really stood out to me. They were gentle, patient, and made sure I understood what was happening. It was obvious that the animals weren’t just numbers to them.

They're super transparent and educational about treatments, pricing, and how to navigate care at home. They're also quick to respond if I ever call or email with questions or needing an appointment (same day or within a business day at most).

Tony the Vet Tech always tries to check on my black cat Tony, whenever he sees his name on the patient board. Patience and understanding is given to my partner's cat, Major, who gets quite shy outside of the house. Francie prefers to take her exams from the human's chair (as she thinks she's a person) and Dr. Hillman makes her feel right at home.

“Compassion, expertise, and communication were the highlights of my experience at OVRS. Every staff member was kind, compassionate, and helpful. The praise and love my cat got from everyone made me feel reassured that he was in good and caring hands for his overnight stays! Each staff member also was great at explaining procedures, options, care needed, transparent about prices, and answering any questions. It made a very difficult process a lot easier and I am so appreciative of all of them. Cost was always within the range of the estimate and felt reasonable considering the level of care my cat needed.
