Barnum Park is a nice big greenspace with wide paths and many benches. The city keeps it clean and well manicured. It has a playground that is clean and well equipped, and a chemical bathroom and a porta pottie for restrooms. Dogs can walk in a dog‑walking area but are not allowed in the playground. There are picnic tables and grassy space, though there is no shaded area and a few trees. Parking is easy and a paved sidewalk surrounds the park, making it a good spot for a quick walk or run.
