“I discovered Harp’s Lingerie several months ago while on a business trip to Detroit, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff or the overall experience. I’ve purchased bras from department stores and ordered online, but I had never before found the courage to ask someone to measure me properly or help me find bras that truly fit and feel right. I’m self-conscious and often worried about what others might think, so as expected, I was extremely nervous walking into a lingerie store and asking for assistance.

The ladies at Harp’s were immediately welcoming, knowledgeable, and completely non-judgmental. They quickly made me feel comfortable and helped me to embrace the experience. The saleswoman helped me select several styles to try before taking me to a dressing room to confirm my measurements. After confirming my size, she was able to choose several bras that worked for my shallow, low apex breast shape and also aligned with my aesthetic goals.

The boutique itself is not overly large, and finding a parking spot can be a little tricky depending on the time of day. However, the atmosphere is comfortable and somewhat reminiscent of the classic lingerie shops of the 1950s and 60s. That said, they offer a wide variety to choose from, including higher end European brands such as Mey, Chantelle, and Anita, along with hard-to-find sizes. It’s clear they curate their inventory with care and expertise.

I’m a little insecure about my body, and I genuinely appreciated how the staff made me feel seen, comfortable, and supported throughout the fitting. Their kindness made a big difference. Parking in the area can be a bit of a challenge, but the experience at Harp’s is absolutely worth it.
