“Visited this store recently and had a pleasant experience. The owner, Steve, gave me a great deal on the school of Celestial Pearl Danios he had available. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable about the industry. I will visit again”

“Didn't take good photos right away. Though this has been the best haircut! Nothing fancy was requested, but detailed trim around the tail, paws, and nails was quite impressive and unique. It was regular cut but never saw this level of detail and practical style in common troublesome areas. Will definitely be a repeated customer!”

“Highly recommend Steve at Scrubbers Grooming in Rochester Hills! He’s been grooming our dog Milo, and we’re always super happy with the cuts. It’s such a relief finding a groomer who’s consistent, caring, and really pays attention to detail. Milo always comes back looking and feeling great — you can tell Steve truly cares about the dogs he works with!”

“I had such a great experience at Canine Divine! They took amazing care of both of my dogs, and it truly shows how much the staff loves animals. Everyone was so sweet and attentive, and my dogs were happy and well cared for. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else ever again!”
“I love Hollywood feed always. The only reason it isn’t getting 5/5 is this location doesn’t price match to as many places as other locations. They only match to local pet stores with a physical coupon.”
“Absolutely love this place. Prices are about half of what you’d pay at most pet stores, especially for bulk supplies. The selection is elite. Pet-friendly, always clean, and staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people”
“Super kind staff. We drive around 40 minutes for one of their services, but it was worth it. Real nice atmosphere. I won't regularly visit because it's too far, but everyone was very nice and friendly when I was there”

“Great place for all pet needs! Friendly place and fantastic variety for pet all pets. Also hosts Pet picture taking with professional photographer with nominal cost.”
“Ive known this store for decades. It was once a school field trip for me in the late 1980s. My mom had a bird and always taken it there and shopped there in the 1990s. I had fish for 20+ years. I always get my pet fish from there. Their fish are nice and healthy. I was there today to get an Angelfish and a plecko they were very helpful. They had alot of variety of birds there including the large colorful macaw that is always so sweet. Right now they're under renovation construction, so theres not a whole lot there currently. Im sure once finished it will be awesome. Thank you”
“Amazing selection of toys, food, accessories and other necessities. They are disability friendly for staff and customers which I love to support. They also do adoptions so stop in to play with the kitties!!”
“This is a god sent, coming from New Jersey where Victor is doesn't have a local distributor near me. When coming to Michigan. Having here one is a blessing, I love this place The staff is very knowledge, cordial, helpful and accommodating. Not leave out many locations.
Suggestion run don't walk amazing pet store.

“My daughter wanted a fish for her 11th birthday, so we went to Pet Haven to do some shopping.
She ended up with a gorgeous gorgeous fish and could be happier. He is a beautiful betta. Cal, the owner, was happy to show us everything we were looking for and answer as many questions as we could come up with.
This store is a Sterling Heights institution and I highly recommend coming here for fish needs! He has been in that location for 51 years!”
“Very good shopping experience. The cashier was very nice and courteous. The store is always stocked and clean. And you have more then enough to keep my cat happy! ☺”
“This crew was amazing... I arrived half an hour before closing , and I talked to all the staff members for a variety of reasons Lilly was incredibly helpful as was Dylan. I would like to thank premier pet supply for making available the twenty five percent discount no restriction coupon, without a limit This made a huge difference when you're feeding 2 big doggos & you're buying premium kibble in 40 pound bags. I was able to save a ton of money -I did stock up thanks to the long expiration dates of our brand of kibble also got the equivalent case of canned food. The savings is incredibly significant , and I can't thank you enough. A sincere woof woof thank you from the furballs & me to Lilly Dylan and the whole Premier Pet Supply team. Great pack over there in Rochester Hills. I'll be back when we run out of our 3x40 lbs of kibble. See ya next week lol jk. Next month maybe 🐶”

“This place saved my cats life when he was 5 years old because he needed PU surgery. He is now 13 and happy and healthy. I will forever be grateful for this place and plan on reaching out to them to see if I could somehow set up something that basically do a fundraiser where some of the proceeds from my small business go to them as a way of saying thank you.”
“I've had nice customer service experiences here. The gentlemen who works here (tall, dark n handsome) always carried out my dog food to my 🚗 car. Thank U handsome!”
“So glad to finally have one of these stores near me! The prices on pet food can't be beat! They also have tons of other items for less than you can get it anywhere else. I always check here before other big box hardware stores.”
“Just went in to buy cat food and the manager Doug was amazing! Helped with the app and my points even though it was giving me a hard time. He still gave me the 10$ anyway. Will be coming back again as per usual!! Thank you pet supplies plus + Doug!”
“Love this place! They always have the dog food I need and the staff is super helpful, they'll even help you carry stuff out. Reward points have saved me a few times and there's usually something on sale. Easily my go-to pet store.”
“Ez groom is the absolute BEST!
Filthy beast is an incredible deep cleaning / degreasing / deep conditioning/ Odor eliminator all in one shampoo! The smell is great and a bottle lasts!
They have great all purpose shampoos like the pomegranate and strawberry kisses.
We use all of their colognes and even have a dryer from them. They are my go to company”
“One of my favorite stores in Ferndale, Michigan. Friendly service and a good variety of items for pets. Items are well stocked and prices are a lot less than Pet chain stores. And LGBTQ owned a great addition to Ferndale.”
“Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of the associates to get me the live insects for my pet. But once they are over there they are very nice there's usually little to no line here.”
“Best store no one have what he have Specially, when you have pigeon, it's hard to find stuff for pigeon I highly recommend this place Very good customer service. Very friendly.”
“I went to pick out a few giftcards and some dog toys for my kid’s teachers who both have dogs (and a fun new toy for my pup). When I walked in it wasn’t busy, but there were staff members walking around making the place organized and keeping an eye out to see if anyone needed help. I passed the salon and someone was dropping off a very rambunctious fur baby (obviously toddler) but happy dog. The staff didn’t act exhausted, even though it is close to the holidays, but were genuinely excited for their time with this guy. As I checked out with my giftcards and toys, the cashier rang everything up and then double checked the balance on the cards to make sure the recipients would have no issues using them. They really do care here, and it’s worth my time and doesn't cut into my threshold of “dealing with people” by going to this store. 10/10”

“Did not go in person. Make a phone call asking questions about adoption. The person I spoke with was very helpful. All animals there have been fixed and received there shots before the adoption takes place. They appreciate any donations and supplies and might be open to people volunteering. They have a great website. Take a look to see who is a available for adoption and gave them a new and loving home . All animals would love a loving family an be told they are loved. Open your heart . I have 5 kitties and 3 of them are rescues. ❤ ?⬛?????❤”

“We took our puppy, Daisy, in for a nail trim because she won't let us touch her paws at home, and Sarah took care of her with absolutely no issues at all. Daisy is completely obsessed with her! She even remembered Sarah from the week before.
We bring Daisy in every Sunday just to walk around and get comfortable being out and about, and last week she was so excited to see Sarah that she actually peed on the floor from excitement! Sarah was incredibly sweet about it, cleaned it up without hesitation, and still showered Daisy with pets and attention.
Sarah is truly amazing. She is patient, kind, and clearly loves what she does. Employees like her make all the difference, and she absolutely deserves a raise—if she hasn't gotten one already! Thank you, Sarah, for making Daisy feel so loved and comfortable every time she visits. 🐾💕”
“Eric has helped us maintain our pet fence for over 15 years. It's been a great experience. He's responsive, efficient, great with our dogs... simply a pleasure to deal with. We could not be more satisfied! 5 stars!”
“Thor likes this place but today 6/5/26, 6:50pm pick up..dropped off at 8:00am… He peed like a racehorse upon exit… did someone even take him out for a pee break?!?!? He was panting extremely heavy breathing for an entire two hours after pick up which questions the breaks? This has never happened before.”

“Val’s Pet Supplies is a Clawson staple and exactly the kind of non corporate, family run business everyone should support. Having lived away for a time and not having an animal for a while, returning to this shop was a top priority after deciding to adopt our cat, Layla. It is wonderful to find that the store is still just as good as always and has been a reliable part of the community for a long time.
The store has a classic, dated feel that is becoming harder to find, and it is honestly better that way. There is a real charm to it staying exactly as it is. This lack of corporate flash is likely what helps keep the prices so much lower than the competition.
It is easily the best place around for a specialized and comprehensive selection of cat supplies at prices that consistently beat the big box stores. There is also a fantastic dog selection, a variety of small animal supplies, and even bird seed in bulk. Almost always, there is a good clearance bin to check out for extra savings, and the staff is more than happy to order specific items if they are not already on the shelf.
Getting in and out is very convenient since you can pull in right off Rochester Road or use the back parking lot entrance off 14 Mile. This makes for a quick and stress free stop every time.
Beyond the great prices, the staff is just wonderful, and everyone greets you the second you walk through the door. There is even a community cork board just inside the front doors for the neighborhood to post about lost or found animals, which really shows how much they care.
It is reliable, professional, and run by people who truly care about our community. Definitely skip the chains and give this local shop your business!”
