“I feel like a bloody princess today. I went on an impromptu shopping spree yesterday and walked in to Blue Jean Blues by chance. It was my first time in. Monica was lovely and very helpful- but also know how to balance trying to sell you something with not pressuring. Which was a relief to my little millennial soul. She even packed my second item in a different bag because she didn’t want the tule skirt, my current reason for feeling like a princess, to get creased by the weight of an amazing elongated bomber jacket. I walked out of there having a very Pretty Woman moment with two large pretty pink bags.Later, turning out of a vintage shop where I’d been on my usual hunt for vintage vinyl, a woman, also holding a pink bag, passed and we both determined that we respectively had good taste.This place is worth all the parking R.O. is making a pain. The clothes are well made for the price point too- meaning I would have expected to pay more for how good they feel on. The items I purchased were of comparable price to things half their quality. I am ruined, thanks Monica.Also there is just the prefect balance between professional, sexy, modest and with just a hint of black leather. In short, a well curated shop run by someone who cares about style.”

“The name of this boutique is true! I needed a White outfit for a White party and it was getting close to the event, less than a week! A FB friend referred me after I complimented an outfit she was wearing. I arrived and told Fatima what I needed, she showed me a few White outfits but she pulled out a dress last. I don't wear dresses but she encouraged me to try it on and it was really nice looking and sooo comfortable. I'm so glad I went, her store is just fabulous! This is definitely the place for an original dress, suit, pants, jeans, shoes, accessories plus shapewear and hosiery. Go go go!!”
“I went to Brions hair salon this morning to see Sandy for a haircut. First of all, the place is super cute. When I walked in, I was met with a smiling face and friendly welcome from Hope, the salon owner and stylist. The salon was also decorated with inspirational sayings across the walls and comfy seating but with all the bells and whistles of a large, chain salon. I've been looking for a new stylist and salon since Moving to the area and I think this is the one! They are reasonably priced, have a nice comfortable and elegant place with everything a customer could want in a hair salon. I asked sandy to give me a long hair Hawaii look- with flowing waves and layers, and she did exactly that. She kept the length and created these beautiful long layers that I imagine blowing wistfully in the wind on the beach. Love it love it! I will definitely be coming regularly and I recommend you come and check them out too! Tip: their main entrance is off of Farmington rd.”

“Although this place is very small as salvage yards/stores go, they have a quality selection, especially if you're looking for reclaimed wood for shelves, beams or mantels. They also have a good selection of salvaged doors and windows (perfect for a pantry or interesting project). The place was so well organized, that we found what we were looking for in under 5 minutes and were out the door with our wood cut into the sizes we needed in 15. Very good trip and worth the drive from Ann Arbor to get beautiful, custom-sized shelves from reclaimed wood. BTW, if you're looking for a splurge, they have pieces that are over 400 years old in great condition (used, but beautifully marked). And don't be afraid of their limited hours--if you text Suzie, she'll make an appointment to meet you there at a time that works for both of you! Super helpful.”

“I wanted to share the awesome experience I had with Krystal Marketing in Troy, MI. I live in Maryland and have used Krystal Marketing one other time, 10 years ago, while I was working for Navy Federal C.U. in Suitland, MD. Every year NFCU hosted a "Family Day" and we ordered a variety of calculators and insulated foam cup cozies-they were awesome!! Renee was very knowledgeable while providing guidance on what would "look best" on which item. Fast forward 10 years and I still had the pleasure of working with Renee for an order I wanted specifically done in order to honor a very special Dad at his Memorial service. I can honestly say that if the opportunity presented itself within my line of work, Government Contracting, I would work with them again in nano second!! “I'm very new to fly fishing and my cheap trout rod snapped so I stopped in to treat myself to a better rod because i've discovered fly fishing for trout is litteral crack and having very little knowledge or experience the sales rep went what I felt like (very easy to please) above and beyond for me and helped me pick out a very specific fly rod rod for the type of fishing I normally do and helped me pick out a reel and spooled it for me and even offered to let me cast it outside to see if it's really what I wanted and this was while they where closing. If catching bass and pike is as fun on the fly as trout I will definitely be back to purchase another set up from this location. I left extremely satisfied with my purchase and I feel like I learned a fair amount too. I was helped by a older gentleman I dont remember his name but I hope I see him again. “We got outfit for the my grandma for my wedding, and both uncle and aunty were extremely helpful and took really good care of us. The outfits were beautiful with great quality of material. They were very patient and showed us variety of styles. One benefit I found helpful was they do their own tailoring so we didn’t to look for one outside. We had an amazing experience!!”
