“On my way to this store to look for fishing jigs and lures, although it wasn't the store i was looking for....This is a great store! The staff is very helpful also. They have fly fishing lures as well as all the things to make your own. There is a wide selection of clothing also, so if you wanna stay and look cool while fishing, this is definitely your spot. I myself have never been fly fishing, so I don't know where yo start... but guess what...THEY HAVE FLY FISHING LESSONS ALSO! So I'll definitely be back to take a class and get some gear!”

“Absolutely my favorite store in Birmingham- Mother and Son owned- they have created this amazing space! I love the foundation and love behind this store and the talent as well. The Son, who goes to NYC and shops fashion- brings back beautiful unique pieces. I bought a beautiful navy blue Nicole Miller dress from there and I had an issue with the zipper and they helped me and accommodated me … and taught me how to properly zip up the zipper as well… ???. “The name of this boutique is true! I needed a White outfit for a White party and it was getting close to the event, less than a week! A FB friend referred me after I complimented an outfit she was wearing. I arrived and told Fatima what I needed, she showed me a few White outfits but she pulled out a dress last. I don't wear dresses but she encouraged me to try it on and it was really nice looking and sooo comfortable. I'm so glad I went, her store is just fabulous! This is definitely the place for an original dress, suit, pants, jeans, shoes, accessories plus shapewear and hosiery. Go go go!!”

“I went to Brions hair salon this morning to see Sandy for a haircut. First of all, the place is super cute. When I walked in, I was met with a smiling face and friendly welcome from Hope, the salon owner and stylist. The salon was also decorated with inspirational sayings across the walls and comfy seating but with all the bells and whistles of a large, chain salon. I've been looking for a new stylist and salon since Moving to the area and I think this is the one! They are reasonably priced, have a nice comfortable and elegant place with everything a customer could want in a hair salon. I asked sandy to give me a long hair Hawaii look- with flowing waves and layers, and she did exactly that. She kept the length and created these beautiful long layers that I imagine blowing wistfully in the wind on the beach. Love it love it! I will definitely be coming regularly and I recommend you come and check them out too! Tip: their main entrance is off of Farmington rd.”

Rose and Sterose International Boutique are fantastic!My husband and I were attending our first traditional Nigerian wedding (Friday August 12) and on Thursday August 11th we needed our outfits ASAP! I Googled the top African clothing stores in the Detroit area and Sterose was one of the places with the highest ratings. What really caught my eye was how consistently customers raved about the owner, Rose's wonderful customer service and customer care. We were not disappointed.First I called to make sure that the shop was in fact open, and when I did not get an answer I left a message. I was quite pleasantly surprised when shortly after my call she called me back! I was impressed already. She said she stepped out but would be back and agreed to contact me when she was on her way.When we arrived we immedately felt welcome.
