“I’ve been working with Merritt and Kevin at Repcolite Paints in Pontiac since 2015, and they’ve been my biggest supplier ever since. These guys are what a real paint store is all about.
When you walk into their old building at the corner of Woodward and M-59, you can feel the history — it’s been a paint store for decades. You can go to a big corporate location, but you’ll never get the kind of service, knowledge, or support you’ll find here.
Merritt and his team have latex paint running through their veins. Even after 23 years in the painting business, I still learn things from them. They always recommend the right coating for the right substrate, and they make sure I’m stocked with top-quality Benjamin Moore exterior paint for our jobs.
They deliver to my shop every day, label my paint in special ways so it never gets mixed up on site, and always have my back. It’s old-school customer service that’s hard to find anymore.

“I’m currently painting the exterior of my 100 year old Birmingham home. I can’t tell you how fortunate I am to have a local, helpful, and knowledgeable paint store nearby. Huge thanks to Asst. Mgr. Zachry Z. for answering all my questions. I just posted three pics (two exterior and one interior) highlighting the type of work I’m doing (yes, I’m an ardent DIYer) and the quality of the paint. I’ve used SW paint exclusively in all of my interior projects as well (and that’s been extensive!). I wouldn’t use any other paint. Period.

“Wow. Steve was awesome. The most helpful. I've been painting my house, and been trying to match this paint for ages. Nobody has done it. After about literally 5 or 6 trips to the store, and about an hour of minute adjustments, we got it. And it was a bit of a mid understanding which paint I was going for, and we matched the wrong color on the lid because someone had painted the lid for some reason.
