“My go to grocery store! I have been shopping almost exclusively at Trader Joe’s since I moved out of my parents house. I adore the limited selection of products and simple layout compared to regular grocery stores. They do have very overpriced meats that are subpar in general- so I go elsewhere for that. But everything else is my favorite here. Very good customer service too! If you have your hands full with kids they always offer to help me shop and bring my groceries to the car. And just a very positive and upbeat attitude when you talk to anyone here- nation wide. I’ve never had a bad experience with a Trader Joe’s employee.”

“THE place to go in Pontiac for produce! They have everything - including fresh sugar cane stalks - and multiple varieties of all fresh fruits and veggies. If they don't have it, it's probably not in season anywhere and you shouldn't buy it anyways. Also an excellent well stocked general store. The Mexican butcher is dedicated to his craft, loves his family, and is proud to be American! All the meat is very fresh without any preservatives. And if you love honey like I do, look no further because this place has at least 20 different options! I now love the whole comb varieties myself, thanks to them... and they had several!”
“Now that they've done the full changeover from Value Center, they've gone more upscale with their offerings (and prices). That said, it's still a good place to buy meat, and they seem to have a pretty regular selection of marked down products for people who don't mind things nearing their expiration date. They've got a good selection of frozen seafood now, and have installed a sushi bar.”

“It's a smidge smaller with a bit less food variety than the other Meijers in the area, but it's perfectly good and still has more variety (and better prices) than smaller local grocery stores.
They need to reopen the fitting rooms. If I wanted to buy clothes without trying them on, I'd shop online. The employee who was working near the former fitting rooms looked shocked when I handed her the items I wanted to try on saying I didn't want to buy without trying on first. The sign says it's because of covid but come on, nobody has restrictions anymore. Just pay well enough that you can have the staff to run the rooms.”
“The parking lot needs to be improved. There are holes in the pavement. The prices are higher than expected. The deli offers good selection of lunch and dinner items.”

“this Meijer always has a great selection of foods and other household essentials. they have a whole bunch of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available which is always a plus. they have a really nice wine and spirits section as well, better than some of the other local Meijer's I have shopped at. this store has pretty much everything you could want or need and the prices are fair. never had any issues whatsoever at this Meijer and I will continue my patronage.

i wanted to come back and give an update. I made a mistake and left a bag of groceries behind at the store last night. i came back the next day with my receipt and spoke with the customer service rep, who was very kind, helpful and understanding, and Meijer gladly helped me set everything straight. i truly appreciate this level of service and willingness to assist their customers. this is just one more reason why I continue shopping at Meijer. big shout out to Meijer and it's great employees. thank you all!”
