Great customer service right from the start! Lucas called me to tell me I had mistakenly made two reservations, and I appreciated that. Lucas was so nice, and easy to deal with, and rented me a low-mileage, clean car (Kia Soul) that was fun to drive.
I have rented cars in the Brighton/Howell area, and this was my best experience yet. Hassle-free.
Props to Lucas (and Robin!)--if I ever need to rent again, I'll do it here!

As a working female I feel slighted by this location. My main car has been in the shop for almost TWO MONTHS (so I was already unhappy) and I've rented two times previously before today at a different Hertz location. The service representative made me feel inferior and, even though I've used my work discount for Hertz rentals twice previously in THE SAME MONTH. Yet for some reason this time the service rep. asked for proof that I worked there! It was SO inconvenient. He didn't have a problem with a MAN dropping off his vehicle or talking to my husband, but he made me, the female, jump through unnecessary hoops and said some unnecessary comments to me. It's just so frustrating when you know someone is treating you poorly just to get their own rocks off. Watch out for this location if you want to be treated like a valuable customer and you're a woman.

robin should work as a detective instead of a manager at hertz. His attitude is fitting with the role.
Within 2 minutes of me asking questions about a model/year car I was going to rent he starts accusing me I might steal the car LOL!! I literally almost laughed. This guy should not be working with customers, he’s so paranoid about nothing. I literally asked the model and year and that’s it lol. I’m paying 1200 dollars, yeah…I’d like a new model for that price. How is that suspicious? I have a commercial driver’s license and a TWIC card. I’m a Michigan resident with matching cc and debit cards. Can’t get much more trust than that.
I don’t feel comfortable giving this guy any of my credit cards. His paranoid behavior is concerning.

Travel nightmare. We arrived with our 3 kids to pick up our car at this location on Saturday. The pickup time on the reservation was 12:00 noon. We arrived around 12:20pm and no one was at the location. The signage on the door indicated they did not even have Saturday hours. There was no way to contact the location and the Hertz 800 number could only tell us it appeared the location closed at noon. We got no communication from Hertz or this branch that we would not be able to pick up the car in the agreed upon timeframe. We ended up having to get a new rental (double the price) out at DTW and add over an hour to our drive before we started our road trip. Almost an hour on the phone with customer service and I still have charges for both rentals. Do not rent from this location!! No dependability or customer service, and really set our trip off on the wrong foot.

Guy that works at the front desk is very rude. Ego meniacal wouldn’t accept temp license or explain that a passport would also work with it. I asked if he’s alright, and he asked if I was. I asked for a Toyota. There were plenty in the lot. But he insisted on me taking the Nissan. Overall. If you want to interact with a complete jerk. Go here.

Worked with Lucas really great experience car was pulled up Paperwork was minimal and fast there was no upselling only explanation of benefits, which I did end up going with! And glad I did!

Best rental office in the area. I rent often for work and occasionally for myself and this location has hands down been the best experience. Lucas (I think?) is super helpful, informative and efficient. I'll definitely rent here again.

Manager treated me like garbage, I walked in and requested a vehicle under fleet told me I needed to call after I told him last time I was here that I didn't have a reservation. Argued with me when I didn't mind calling to set up a reservation. Never come here. Ever.

I returned a vehicle that I had for the better part of 3 months...the holidays are always tuff I used the car to get to and from work and to transport Marijuana to and from for a little extra cash so I can get this game system my son wants for Xmas I promised him he'd get it if he's was good and got great grades ...he's strait A I'm so proud...quite a few nights the weed sat in the car overnight the lady said she'd charge me for smoking weed in the car I didn't argue I figured he'll how much could it be...I she took 600$ out of my account...that'sall I made transporting that's was my son's game system...thanks lady merry christmas...I'll never rent from hertz again...I feel so let down by a c ompany I've been nothing but faithful too jeeze man coulda made a payment plan with me...I'm totally u nderstanding but just wow...it's Christmas SMH this is crazy

Every time I've been to this location I've been met with the same rude man. After being told 2 different totals by 2 different people I was charged 35$ more than the website originally gave, for 3 gallons of gas despite being told to bring it back with what it had in it. The man checked the car before I left when I returned it and didn't mention the gas and gave me a total 26$ less than what I was charged. I chose to have my receipt emailed so I didnt know immediately and when you go to call the Iocation it's a recording that sends you to the website. I just got a fresh charge of 21$ for toll roads that I was only charged 11$in the past 2 years(same trip every year) Since I've never had any issue with any other hertz,I assume it's this location. The lady who checked me in was very nice and apologetic when my car wasn't ready because it hadn't been checked in from the previous rental.
