“I love this place more than I can say for their affordable coffee and amazing staff, but I must say I have been very disappointed in their coffee as of late. I go there every single day and I've recently noticed that the coffee just tastes like warm milk. Not sure if they are trying to save on the coffee beans, but it's made my morning coffee run quite sad. Also not sure why the swapped out the chai for something less spicy. I'm only writing this review in hopes that the Groundworks higher ups know that it's not the prices or the employees, it's the actual coffee that is my big issue as of late.”
“Store was recently remodeled, but now they are back to packing it to the hilt. Staff are very nice and they've got some really cute items, and the signage is very helpful.”
“Wayyyyyyy better than the Michigan center one. The one in Michigan center is a dump with no air conditioning and falling apart building and shelves. This one is clean, well stocked and has AC lol. And is near the Michigan center one. Might as well close the one in center and expand this one into a dollar general market like the one in Marshall.”

“Loved when this place opened since there are very few stores near here. Has more food than most DG's, gears more toward the summer lake crowd, but no fresh food.”
“I was driving by this DG and I thought I'd go inside to pick up a few things instead of driving into Michigan Center. It was fairly clean. The checkout employee was friendly. However, the greeting card selection was dismal. I don't think I've ever seen so many empty slots--but I found everything else.”
“Not much in the way of any CHRISTmas decor left. What was left was 70% off at the front of the store on a cart. Flowers, plates, bags, and cards. Alot of Valentine's out on the shelf!”
“New manager!! Staff acts way better, store looks way cleaner, I was driving to ann arbor road because center was wrecked, but now it's way better in center.. if you left like I did, try it again, trust me, new manager is awesome!!”
“They had the items that I wanted. Sadly, the refrigerated display for fruits and vegetables was out of order and empty. I hope that it gets fixed soon since we have no local grocery store.”
“DG's are fairly interchangeable. This offers almost everything that any other DG offers with one big exception, they don't sell alcohol. So I am giving them an extra star for not having that garbage domestic beer advertised all over the building.
Never had a bad interaction with the staff. Relatively clean and stocked. If you need to grab some necessities quickly it's one of the better DG's in the area.”
“I have been to this DG a few times and the associates here are so knowledgeable and super friendly. They really go out of their way to help you find what you need . Christina was especially friendly and helpful on our last trip there. Super impressed! They treat you like friends.”
