“Wow, I am amazed. I went in yesterday for my first time and received such wonderful service. Assistant Ava met me at my car to help bring my two dogs in while I got my 2 year old daughter.
During the check up, my daughter kept getting in the way. I tried pulling her back to me, but Doctor Josh Leven not only didn't mind, but INVITED her to help! He let her look in the dogs' ears with the otoscope, listen to their hearts through the stethoscope, and then gave her a choice of stickers. At the end of the appointment they even went out of the way to LAMINATE a certificate for her!
They thoroughly reviewed all costs in detail allowing me to add or remove items. Costs were fairly priced.
We went in for a standard check up and left with wonderful memories - now my daughter wants to play vet all day!”
“I have truly come to appreciate everyone at cottonwood vet. My cat has been having quite a few behavioral and medical issues this past year and I have almost always been able to get in same day or within two days which I really appreciate. Not only are they able to get me in but the prices are so reasonable and as a full time student i can’t appreciate that enough. They respond to me text super fast and are always super sweet and help a very anxious cat mom calm down hahaha”

“An edit to my original review: Christy the office manager reached out to me and cleared up some confusion and we were able to come to an understanding we were both happy with. So I’m updating my review to 5 stars. While I am going to stick with the new vet we are seeing now, I would consider going to VCA Woodland or Knapp in the future.
We have been going to VCA since late 2020 with our senior dogs. The first time we saw Dr Ambrose we loved her and we always made our appointments with her. All the other vets are great, sometimes you just really click with a person. After years of seeing just her for check ups, vaccines, random foot licking and eye issues, multiple teeth cleanings and extractions, and finally the death of our oldest dog; I was so disappointed when I called to ask about Dr Ambrose moving to the new location and was told without any emotion I could not transfer my care club for the last few months to see her. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with VCA Woodland and for the first time it felt like all they cared about was collecting my money.
I have since found a new vet, who is great with my dogs and much more affordable. I never thought shopping around for vet care was a thing, but I now realize how ridiculously high VCA’s prices are. If they had been willing to work with me, I would have transferred to VCA Knapp and continued to spend top dollar to see Dr Ambrose.
So, all of this to say, the level of care is great and I would have continued care at the new location; but I have decided to forfeit the remainder of my care club coverage after receiving no sympathy over our preferred vet moving locations.”
“I highly recommend this office! Why…. Friendly staff, clean lobby/exam rooms, knowledgeable veterinarians, appointment reminders, post-visit checkup calls, and for always being kindly/professionally cared for by every single team member.
Doja had a poor response to her previous vaccines. This was documented in our post-visit call. I loved this was reviewed before her appointment, and as a result, was pre-treated for nausea. She did fantastic this round!
Cat lovers are the best. I appreciate your compassion and attention to the details.”

“Kentwood cat clinic was the best experience my cat has ever had at a vet. I moved to Michigan recently and have been looking for a good vet for my beloved cat and Dr. Pair was that, she was very kind and knowledgeable. Sarah was the technician and she was great as well. I normally worry about if my cat will be scared and try to protect himself at the vet and I could tell in the exam room he felt so comfortable! He was more like the cat I see at home than a scared boy wanting to leave and go home right away. I think it's a combination of the wonderful staff as well as it's a cat only clinic. Highly recommend them if you have a cat.”

“What an amazing place and staff - from McKenzie at the front desk, Frankie, Dr Hunter and Ethan - my dog Plato loved you all and so did his momma PS/ if you go here please mind that they are a walk in clinic - when they are full they are full - no appointments (except for surgeries) - please be mindful, polite and courteous-as any appointment setting veterinary clinic is 4-6wks out I just you get there at 730am (yes, to wait in line for an hour for it to open) OR get there at noon (yes, to await them reopening an hour at 1pm) These times may change so please don't quote me This was just my wonderful experience today and sell helpful tips”

“Dr. Dorr and his team are my favorite veterinary group in Delta County. I have had my animals cared for by Surface Creek, Houseweart and Grand Mesa vet.
Dr. Dorr has treated every single one of my babies and he’s always been gentle, kind and up front. I believe he’s a legit animal communicator. I’ve watched him examine my babies and fix them with ease and care.
I am so grateful for this clinic! I love you all so much! I even got one of my kitties from one of the vet techs who found him and his siblings abandoned.

Just for transparency if anyone is wondering about pricing, we paid $2200 for a cleaning and some extractions, which is more than what we were quoted. Not any cheaper than a regular vet office. They did take good care of our pup, but cost is pretty dang high.”
