“Kurt and his gun-knife shop is old school cool and brings back memories of what a store owner should be. Friendly, respectful and above all else .. fair and honest. I stopped in to sell a few items from my collection and was treated fairly and within a few dollars of their researched value. As in all things .. the trend is to buy/sell online. After stopping in to meet Kurt .. I realize I made the right decision to shop local for personalized service. I can guarantee you that when you leave his store .. you will be more knowledgeable then when your entered because Kurt is full of information about the history of Michigan and the Metro Detroit area as well as little anecdotes concerning life in general. I know that I will return on occasion to buy or just learn something. Not only did I complete a business transaction yesterday .. but I also gained a genuine friend that cares about his patrons.
