“Highly recommend the Timer Ridge Inn if you’re visiting the UP! We stayed for a week and have zero complaints. It was less than 20 minutes to almost everything we had planned and the surroundings were so peaceful! The rooms are clean and well insulated from outside noise. Owners were very nice. We found a small wasp nest hidden in the corner of our balcony and they were there to spray it within a few hours.”
“Pasties are awesome. Don't hesitate to get a few frozen to take home. Follow the directions for reheating and they will be 97.5% of fresh. Can't wait to get back and restock the freezer!”

“This hotel truly impressed me. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and I particularly appreciated their well-maintained tea station in the lobby, complete with hot water and Teavana tea available around the clock. The Wi-Fi was reliable with good speeds - perfect for both work and streaming. While the bathroom door could use a quieter mechanism, it's a minor detail that hardly affected my wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend!”
“Just stayed at Sunset Motel on the Bay and I'm already dreaming of going back. This place is an absolute gem in Munising!
First off, the view is everything. My room looked out directly onto Munising Bay. Couldn't beat it, even though the weather was horrid.
The room itself was spotless. It was so nice to walk into a space that felt so fresh and clean. Everything from the sheets to the bathroom was immaculate.
And the price? You seriously can't beat it for a waterfront room. It’s an incredible value for the location and the quality of the stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautiful place to stay in the U.P. without breaking the bank, this is it. I can't recommend it enough!”
“It is a good place to consider staying for a couple of days for the purpose of only sleeping and getting ready for activities around. Cost friendly compared to other motels. Clean place.
Free ice near the office. Office was closed all the time, and the motel is opearted by the Superior Motel on the main road. If you're staying in a room away from the office (8, 9, etc.), you'll hardly get any wifi connectivity as the router is installed by the office. No coffee, fridge, or microwave.”
